This was the first fight I ever learned I could play as Mickey. Xaldin was the first boss to give me a legit challenge, and losing to him was crushing. But as the screen turned white and that option displayed, I knew something awesome was coming. With a press of a button, I was awakened to a whole new world of power, and I loved every second of it.
*I remember dying on purpose during certain fights just to use mickey lmao expecially this fight right here tho I beat half of it using sora and the last half using mickey*
This video has really helped me a lot on how to battle against Xaldin Properly because i Always Die Easliy Even In Beginner Mode Against Him So Thank You So Much For This Helpful Video
I know this is a 2+ year old comment but thats because he doesnt have a proper finisher since finishers are what fill revenge value the most (thats why you can take out Lingering Will without triggering revenge value with Berserk Charge). its also why he cant beat bosses
@@drinkingthemoon that's not true at all. The reason you can stunlock bosses with berserk charge is because perfectly times horizontal slashes can stun bosses forever. Even with berserk charge lw retaliates pretty damn fast
I always wanted to fight this entire battle as Mickey. Did any other battle where Mickey could save you allow you upwards of five rounds as Mickey before it was true game over? I couldn't pull it off though. 😅 I couldn't face up to Xaldin's battling style at all. I had to use the reaction commands to do the brunt of the necessary damage to win.
Bosses require a finisher to defeat them. Mickey doesn't have one. They did it so Sora would be the only one to defeat bosses, KH1 didn't have that requirement so it was pretty broken you were able to defeat bosses in pretty crazy ways.
Would’ve been interesting if this fight was canon. Xaldin being an elite member, Sora and Beast weren’t able to rescue Belle and as a princess of heart, Mickey had to interfere this time and fight Xaldin on his own until Sora’s level increases by the time he reaches World that Never Was and be able to match with the other members of the organization.
rw:well afterall ,when using Mickey,you can only land a few blows and you can give someone a few hits for aslong as you can and of course charging the D-Link and using pearl and jumping,but the only down side is ,Mickey cant defeat any bosses for you.

@@dazzlinggem he shows up on the following bosses: Shan Yu Thresholder Dark Thorn Cerberus Hydra Fire/Blizzard lords Stormrider Xaldin First Grim Reaper First Armored Xemnas He also shows up less the more you use him.
