You can't follow an example like conor he had a ridiculously perfect set of circumstances happen at the perfect time with the right skills and personality, you can try to have principles like khabib and follow those, but again he comes from a perfect set of circumstances and a lifetime of nothing but discipline that most will never, ever replicate. They're wildly different and you shouldn't follow people, be the person others want to be like.

as someone who drinks when out with friends to “enhance” the time together, i truly admire that part of Islam and these guys. they can have the most fun without any substance needed. Islam gets a bad rep bc of the extremists but man, that religion is truly beautiful in its truest form

You don’t see friendships especially in the fight game like this, if so they never last and almost always end up with harsh feelings and hate, but these two really do seem like brother and I hope decades from now when both are cemented as legends in the sport we can see them still as close and best of friends
