Yeah. Action speaks louder than words, conor is a great fighter and entertaining but can be annoying sometimes with that fake hype but khabib is so real, no bullsh*t. Hes calm but becareful hes gunna explode when he has a chance, his mentality is just so tough with all the experiences he went thro since a kid, wresrling with bears that made him fearless in the early age. Now, hes so really dangerous. And he is a person with integrity.
Khabib is right. If you knock someone out early, a lot of people can and usually will chalk it up to the other person getting caught with a lucky shot. But if you completely beat someone's ass throughout the fight, and receive minimal damage, and make them quit, yeah there's not much to say after that. If there is going to be a rematch, then Conor should have to earn his way back.
Yeah I think GSP years ago said a quote like "getting knocked out can mean a mistake was made, but getting outclassed an entire fight just to lose to a decision is truly losing". Really resonates w me when I train and fight
"Give me 30 mint rest. after give me tony or connor or kingkong or may be dc anybody it dosent matter. I can fight these guys same night I swear im not joke." -Khabib
It’s funny but I don’t think this is a quote. I think he’d never say that about DC. When a reporter asked if he could take on DC after beating Conor, he told the reporter to have some respect.
@@JohnSmith-pg9ns "Hey this week they (ufc) ask me to fight with five different guys. Hey I said im tired about this. If u bring kingkong and he can make 155 lets go." -Khabib
markcferg it was always going to be personal when your trash talking goes beyond offending your opponent and Conor wasted no time crossing that line. The way I saw it, the “it’s only business” was an apology from Conor and him accepting defeat mid-fight because he knew there was no way of beating Khabib after that. He lost the fight psychologically at that point and I think Khabib will remember that moment and take confidence from it if any future bout between them ever takes place.
@@fahimsalik70 haha you got me bro. I typed in caps so that nullifies ypur ignorance. Fucking idiot, thats all you're good for, lame jokes and personally attacking on the internet
@@xreed4249 how...!!? controlling most of the fight, knocking him down in round 2, only round 3 was competitive and than winning in round 4 by submission ....would love to hear were he was lucky...!?
Amazing athlete and person, so humble that’s what makes him scary. He lets the disrespect and anger fuel him into a monster in training and fight night. The definition of actions speak louder than words.
They wanted to be more defensive and let khabib try his couple of takedowns and than wait for a sloppy takedown to knock him out. They knew if conor would be more offensive the mauling from khabib would be worse than it was so they tried to do what they did in the Eddie Alvarez fight
@@1__1734 But Conor wasn't listening to his coaches either in the fight. His coaches were telling him not to chase khabib and let him come to him. Conor did the exact opposite. He was forcing his shots and not letting khabib commit. He switched it up in the 3rd round and started letting khabib come to him and Conor had more success and it was a full stand-up fight that Conor won even being tired. Khabib said it himself. Conor was slow and weak after the 2nd round.
That the best you got? That’s not true. If you watch the fight again on fight pass you’ll notice that Conor does indeed force the takedown out of khabib in that initial outside leg single, and Conor sets himself to try to land a knee to his head. The knee misses, in large part because khabib shoots his single leg so low. The only other fight he has shown his outside leg single is one time against iaquinta. Conor honestly had the right idea, khabib just executed better
Hamad Al Shaqsi your obviously a casual talking, you call "ko" a gameplan? lol with conor his striking and takedown defense is always enough because his timing and precision is overwhelming
i fw both but i don’t agree with Khabib, idk how anyone can see the “its only business” as him showing weakness and not a response to Khabib telling the ref when Conor was cheating. i heard only clinches at first but i don’t see how “it’s only business” is weakness, if he said it WAS only business then i would agree.
The beating will be 1000 percent more brutal We hear how hard gathje hit tony, now imagine how hard khabib hit Connor back then It'll be more fucking brutal than it already is
Now that’s a great comment. That would of been perfect to hear it all. I wouldn’t want either of them after me. Lol . But i was really satisfied with the results
He still sells more PPV events than khabib even after losing to him. Khabib is rich cause of what Conor did. It's a business bu dumbf**k, they all get in the ring for money.
@@MikfinityPog He saying the famous phrases of both fighters. Ali is boxer and Khabib is mainly wrestler who does mma. A fight between them is dumb comparison
@@BigPoppaSufi Not pissy at all. Conor cheated the whole way through, he kept grabbing khabibs shorts in r3, which meant he couldnt complete a takedown, stopping khabib from doing what he does best illegally.
Mcgregor makes money like that he’s one of the most paid fighters ever and it’s not for nothing some people choose to take it seriously others as entertainment
@@OmagaProject maybe for you it doesn't matter, but for other people it did matter. Look at Khabib he is a millionaire and he never ever needed to do that, people are welling to watch him because of "invencible" or fighting style. So he got all this attention throughout dedication and hard work rather than swearing others fighters family and relatives. A good example of good trash talker for is Chael Sonnen, he used to managed to get attention without swearing and offend others fighters family.
I think it is absolutely awesome that khabib the ufc lightweight champion took time to train, speak and also answer questions at an mma gym while he was in australia very humble guy indeed
I'm fairly certain Conor meant it as is: "It's only business". He didn't care about his offense, and that in itself should be more offensive. When you care so much about the other guy that he lives rent free in your head and he only looks at you and sees the next figure in his check.
@@kpkp7777 I don't think he was scared going in, and maybe "scared" isn't the right word to use, but I think he definitely realised when he was in there with Khabib that he was in way over his head.
You see when you start poking at snakes burrow and not know when he’s going to strike will cause a tremendous about of fear, if you watch the fight just before it starts Conor when looking at khabib had to look around for a second and then look khabib was a clear sign I have been poking you a lot and now I will get what I deserve... Scared before the fight even began
@Check This _ KEEP ACTING STUPID JUST NEVER EVEN ATTEMPT TO MEET ME IN PERDON I WILL FUCK YOUR WHOLE LIFE UPPP LIKE YOU CANN NOT EVEN BEGUN TO IMAGINE INTERNET I COWARD_
Im a huge conor fan, i can understand Conor saying its only business meaning he did all that trash talk for the fight but thats a good point Khabib brought up about “he tried to make me relax” and “he showed his weakness”
he wouldnt say that if he's win, he know he get beat up badly.. it just pathetic for fighter like conor who act like he own the world and claim the best fighter of all time and then saying ''it just bussiness'' when he get beat up.
Wow, I never thought about it like that. Especially in boxing you're trying to get the knockout, but to make someone quit in the octagon. Its a better satisfying in victory. In MMA you have that option.
Incredible to watch, imagine the feeling his opponents would have after being defeated by him, pride dignity stripped from them. Damn he’s something else and we the true fans (of everyone) are very blessed to witness such an elite fighter. His emotion control is incredible, think cody no love has taken a leaf from his book. Love seeing champions that are humble. Khabib is headed to goat territory especially if he goes 30.0 and calls it, wow.
+Rob He wasn't, listen to when he first said it. He was serious, and when Khabib agreed to wrestle him Conor realized he fucked up and tried to play it off as a joke.
Man I was inclined more on believing Connor said "only kisses" instead of "only business". But since Khabib was there firsthand I now believe he said the prior. Damn!
You have to respect khabib's ethic. He is a true example of what a warrior must be. I'm a big conor fan, but khabib's personal and competitive posture totally earned my respect. I don't argue anymore, he's the truest of all champions.
the best part was when he did what no fighter has done, jumped onto an opposing trainer and started a brawl I actually respect him for that because he showed his true emotion, no fake discipline there
@@nugget7865 you wanna watch fake sports go watch the majority of the mainstream crap where people give the most generic boring answers to questions this is a sport of realness, real emotion... real action, f yourself

@@nugget7865 yeah, attacking a bus with your friends and almost killing multiple people is good? disrespecting whole nation is good? is that the "persona" you want to make? at least khabib had enough heart to apologise for his actions,in post fight interview he says sorry to everyone. if there is someone that needs to grow up,its you.
One could see the fear in McChiken Von Tappers Eyes. The fake smile in the ring only tells me how desperate he was, trying to act like it was all cool. He knew he was losing big time!
He's so true. If Khabib had knocked Conor out in the second, everyone would have said it was a lucky punch. But when you make the guy tap, that's it. He's basically saying he quits and has had enough. It would be career suicide if Conor ever faces Khabib again
@@sevans606 yep. Conor's fans are mostly casuals that don't know much about fighting or mma but Khabib fans are only fans because they happen to share the same religion. It's probably the dumbest thing ever and they are so stupid and ignorant.
@@artiew8718 Nope. You're wrong. I'm not Muslim and I like Khabib. He's humble, loyal and respectful. Sure he lost his temper at the end of the fight but I mean c'mon, Conor and his team insulted his religion, his father, his people. And they also attacked him on the bus.
Khabib is much better fighter athlete than conor and he proves it....! and yeah i forget to tell that i checked both of my clocks and its "Khabib time"
If I were to be honest I have never been more nervous in a fight then this one. These two are my most favorite fighters. I really can't choose between them. Seeing them fight was like seeing Godzilla and King Kong fight. I don't agree on how Conor insulted Khabib. But also I didn't like how Khabib finished off making him and his team bad by loosing his shit. These fighters both have my respect and as a current amateur fighter currently 1-0, I inspire to learn from both. The striking and accuracy of Conor and the stamina grappling of khabib. Hats off to both. I hope to see them comr back at it again.
@@mohamuddeqfarah8915 Listen..I'm started being a fan of Conor since I watched him fight against Siver back in January 2015. How would I know he gonna insult our religion 3 years later on 2018. Back in 2015 he roots for Khabib to be a lightweight champion
For me as a big boxing fan and a big MMA Hater, have to be honest, that fight Connor vs khabib was really really good! It made a MMA Fan of me but still not as much as boxing but anyway I’m now a MMA Fan too 👌🏻👌🏻
