The majority of shots didn’t land. And they’ve said that at many similar situations in other fights. Y’all are just having a problem with it because he said it because of the conor hate
I mean...he was. That was entirely his plan on the ground. It didn't work and sounds dumb sure...but that was the plan. Be annoyed with Connors team, not Cruz
@@skindred1888 it is a viable strategy, blocking takes less energy than punching. But saying that is pretending that Conor had a choice in the matter, that's why it's stupid.
It’s the superpowers of mountain people. Coming down to sea level where the Oxygen concentration in the air is higher than the mountains just gives them unlimited stamina. Case & point: Gurkhas from Nepal.
When someone asks me "what's your favourite movie of all time". me: Khabib vs Conor UFC fight coz this is the only clip i never get tired of watching again and again
A man sitting on top of you and punching you in the face that many times does that I guess. I can’t imagine how scary it was. Knowing only Herb and the bell can save you from this monster on top of you.
I can't believe how people dont see this , how UFC and MMA in general have rules in place that give HUGE advantage to Wrestlers and grapplers ( ground fighters ) Look at 0:49 what is that ??? Look how vulnerable Khabib's head and back is thanks to that unsuccessful takedown attempt, but because the rules, the other fighter ( conor ), cant hit his back or Khabibs head to the back. In a real street fight Khabib would had instantly lost that fight at 0:49 You don't put yourself in such a vulnerable position in a real fight. But because UFC rules the grappler and wrestler know they can do that and face no consequences if their takedowns are unsuccessful . They can do this over and over again.. No wonder stand up fighters have a hard time, because the rules are in favor of the ground fighters.
@@lastrusti.o4016 i dont care about this conor guy or khabib guy. I am saying that right now as it is, the UFC MMA rules give a huge advantage for ground fighters over stand up fighters. It gives a distorted version of fighting because, something that might be practical in a MMA fight with current rules is not practical in real fighting.
@@tanelviil9149 brother even in a street fight in a 1v1 ground fighters have the upper hand. That is just the reality. You know why? Because you cant force someone up, but you can force someone down.
I recently get hooked on khabib for months now man I swear he's grown on me every time watching his fights & interviews. all of these delusional thoughts in my head have faded away. he truly one of the most genuine human beings I've ever seen. a moral warrior honorable gentleman. the man deserves much more respect than he gets , I belonge to a different part of world that's make me think the way it was but here to admit I was wrong, dead wrong about Khabib and his entire comunity. I really wish we had more men like him especially in this crazy time!
It's a tough region with a very bloody and violent history. In deed, the strict islamic system is far from any sort of feminism. The only way out is to become a fierce fighter like Nurmagomedov, but as a nation they've lost the the fight and got trampled over by russian imperialism. They lost their best.
Nobody ever did before him..nobody ever did in his presence and nobody will EVER do it after him ..the way Khabib did it was just COLD BLOODED GANGSTER! ...YEARS LATER AND STILL GIVES ME CHILLS . Man that beating was THE MOST SATISFYING EVER! "Let's talk now"
Illegal elbows to the back of the head, illegal knee to the face while grounded, illegally inserting toes in the fence for long durations, illegally grabbing shorts and illegally holding gloves the entire fight. But still got worked.
Herb just straight gave up on the toes in the cage. He was legit trying to pull him out himself and Conor just went right back to it. Herb just said, "Fuck it, he ain't gonna win this shit"
Literally grabbing Khabibs shorts right in front of Herb in the beginning of the first. That’s why Conor was able to defend the takedown so well. You know Herb got a nice donation from the Conor foundation. 🤣
@@programming_and_snacks5192 Wasn't like he was chillin for 2 years, he fought Floyd in 2017, Conor was still in and around his prime. Yeah drinking in the lead up to the fight was stupid but Conor wasn't washed yet. By the time he rematched Dustin he declined noticeably, but that was years after
@@GoGetYourShineboxNaah! Conor's carrier split on two parts : before khabib / After khabib. thats a fact. Conor was striped two devision champion while he fight with khabib, We all know he took something of conor's soul that night n he was never same fighter after this fight
The fact that this video got 2.5m views when it's been so much time since actual date of the fight and it has been discussed, reposted many many times and still we enjoy watching it!
@@steverogers7601it adds to the energy, creating a more exciting vibe for the people watching at home and they r very important for new fans. Do u want them to just calmly say exactly what they r seeing the whole fight? Imagine the last 10 seconds of max vs Justin but with golf type commentary lol, this style of commentary just fits the sport.
What’s even crazy for ppl who have fought khabib never has had a bruise/cut in 29 fights when guys like JG n DP who can’t b even breath out there nose from being broken so much
What’s mental is the compassion khabib showed in all his other fights tell Johnson to tap, refusing to break Justin arm infront of his parents,Conor took his demeanour for granted
@@huntermitchell3314 Conor should have known better than to expect that same compassion, he pushed Khabib , way, WAY too far. Khabib was actually disgusted that Conor tapped iirc. When talking about it later he said something like, "He should go to sleep, why tap? Go to sleep". He legit hated Conor. Probably one of my favorite moments in MMA is him just completely dominating Conor and saying, "Let's talk! Where is your talking now!?". Those Russian cats are just built different man
imagine the effect on someone, they are his closest people, fighters from childhood same religion, same small village ... Man they are all for one in this. The fuel.
I want to see all khabib's fight without commentary. Thats so much content right there. Who needs commentary when khabib himself is talking whole fight.
kinda badboy style actually even girl fell in love, can confirmed because my ex told me how she cant get away/forget her ex boy its dominance for her. and next month we gone our ways
That sequence was really gold, never noticed it went down that way. But with the translation it really is gold. Islam smelt blood and wanted Khabib to smell it too and know the prey was about to give up and accept it's fate
The karma and irony of conor calling khabib a glassjaw before the fight only to get dropped for the first time in his career by khabib was beautifull. And that khabib right hand was surprisingly fast lighting fast, shows us how great of an athlete khabib was. Or conor inventing the story of " my foot was a balloon that's why I lost" to campaign for a rematch with khabib, only for khabib's last fight to be him fighting with a broken foot and a real mental health problem or depression (because he tragedy that happened to his fathet) was a nother beatiful exemple of karma showing how us how a true all time great no matter the circumstances will always win.
We're used to a more classy Khabib so him doing that was really unnatural as he was furious here. And he was speaking in Russian with no language barrier, contrary to when he's speaking in English and tends to sound funnier
Good sport coaches will actually tell you to not sit during breaks, to keep the blood flowing. He was obviously exhausted as well, but sitting down will actually make that worse
And after 4 rounds he still had enough energy to jump the cage and beat up half conor's famili an friends Khabib's cardio was unbelievable - " tiRed !? WHo iS this tired!?". - " Jumping at a hostile crowd just to get someone takes rerious guts and rage lol And the picture of khabib flying in the air is one of the most Iconomic pictures in combat sport history not just ufc
There has never been a more beautiful moment of karma than this, see Connor is your typical tough guy, thinks hes the strongest there is, talks a lot of shit with no respect, then he comes up to this guy, who is a bit strange, very strong, doesnt like shit talking. Then you decide to provoke him, a very dangerous fighter, one who can end your life, insult him beyond measure and expect to get away with it. Karma showed Connor where hes at in life, and his career has effectively ended after this one, he will never be one of the best, and his confidence will never be the same. Has he learned his lesson ? maybe, but he will never forget this humiliation until the rest of his days.
@@hmsp7799 Jokes aside, why they do that? it's not like first time, first they uploaded Usman KO'ing Jorge on the day he's boxing, when they also listed hand stone fighters of the UFC, they didn't include Francis but included Rumble (R.I.P.) and now they upload this fight on Conor's birthday, why does the UFC do that?
That might be his own morning talk show in Dagestan which focuses on local and sports news. He begins the program with, "Let's talk now!", then goes for whatever topic they have. Also ends with a short tidbit of knowledge or words of wisdom then he says, "We talk later." It's perfect for him!
Never forget that Conor McGregor has broken the record of most fouls committed in a fight, didn't get any points deducted and still got mauled 💀 Never seen someone cheat so many times. Unreal stuff
he even won a round ac to Chris lee ( a most pathetic judge we’ve ever seen in the history of ufc ) 😊it would’ve gone to 30-0 😂 if they didn’t robbed out khabib !
He was in losing position so herb dean could not reset because that takes advantage of him. Regardless, Conor was already washed before he fought Khabib no amount of cheating would help him.
@@dose143 No he wasnt he was chatting to Conor as if they were best friends. Connor held onto the cage many times and did other illegal moves. Point should’ve been deducted (not that it mattered anyways, but in fairness of UFC fights, especially as big as this one).
@@yasinh1712lol not everything is abt money but khabib was getting spoiled since he entered the ufc but never had to pay for gyms himself it was all taken care of by someone who’s rotting in a cell currently. Got gifted cars, gym equipments but yea not everything is abt money? What a joke.
7:36 it’s really wild to me that Khabib's trusty talented sidekick is now the #1 pound-for-pound fighter in the world and is himself maybe a couple more victories away from even surpassing Khabib's UFC accomplishments, insane
