Conors defence against the take downs in this fight is underrated , we all know Khabib is like the Everest of grappling. Khabibs boxing is also underrated. he has wild punching power and decent head movement. This fight is one of the best fights in MMA.

I watched this fight at my (heavily Irish) college’s bar and it was electric. I’m a Khabib fan and I was very vocal about it, especially when he won. Half the guys at that bar looked like they wanted to kill me lmfao.

In barboza's fight from the first he kept closing the distance to avoid kicks but with conor he was defensive and backed up to avoid conor's vicious counters. his ability to stay composed even after all those mind games of conor is appreciable.

It's interesting to see how right after the fight ended (3:40), Conor is totally in shock and for a brief moment caught with a scared stare right into Khabibs face, like a deer into a headlight. But then Conor quickly reassembles his composure, breaks his own paralysis and Looks away in a bit of a casual look. Conor is very aware of his body language and connected psychology. It's interesting to see that he both lost it but also how he is so aware and really tries to maintain it after the initial shock
