@@venqu7059 that's just not true bro. Just like any other fighter (few exceptions) he climbed the rankings. After 5 fights he fought RDA and the ones before that were all worthy opponents no "cans" if you look at their credientials in BJJ or their fight time youll see. After RDA who After losing had time to become champ everyone at the time stressed khabib should get a title shot after dominating him. But no he was getting ducked by the top rankings and that's a fact. Same situation happened to Usman and Islam. He had to fit in a few other fighters. Like respectfully how does he go from RDA to MJ, he even beat Barboza at the time who was a top 10 and recently KOd Daruish. His late to stardom is simply at fault through Khabibs injuries and the UFCs matchmaking. Instead of Johnson he rightly deserved a titleshot but the cash cow got it instead for beating Diaz! Lol
Great and quite funny human being besides being the GOAT at his weight class, if not all weight classes... miss him and it was so good to see him telling Connor, "let's talk now..." as he's ground and pounding him into oblivion.... love his interactions with Tony Ferguson too, as those two never did fight in the ring even though the bout was scheduled several times.... but they are fun team bickering at promos for the shows...I think history has shown Khabib would've eaten Tony up had they met...
