Blizzard always has the music and ambiance down, better than any other game developer really. Maybe tied with Nintendo and Square Enix.

They also added Elekk pushie and made it a real thing you can buy from the Blizzard Gear

Wod was definately one of the best all around...and wow music...in general...is profoundly under rated...

WoD was a great experience - levelling through it, once. After that, I found endgame to be awful, and levelling alts to be boring. But it was definitely one of my favorite first-time levelling experiences.

Almost like Batman and Joker really. I feel like Gul'Dan's inevitable death will leave Khadgar without an arch-nemesis. :(

wod music was top tier, so many memorable tracks. talador, shadowmoon valley, friking BRF music, highmaul orcness, the grom theme, stormshield and voljin's spear music. even ashran had super amazing music.

Wod may have had terrible endgame but the zones were beautiful (as always), sound design was on point, raid creativity was great (BRF was pretty impressive), it felt limited because Blizz didn't expand on it like they did with Legion or MOP even. A lot of missed opportunities because the overall feedback was negative from start to end. Stigma from bad launch carried over.

Khadgar reminds a bit of Gandalf the White, both are powerfull wizards and fight against an age old evil, Khadgar smokes also a pipe and has quite the humour as Gandalf possesses

Fabián Jiménez I wouldn't say Wod is the worse expansion (Cataclysm was worse). The problem is Garrisons that totally destroyed social interaction and the fact that so much in the game focuses around these Garrisons.

Fabián Jiménez Hyjal was great, but there weren't much content in Cataclysm either (5 new zones) and they lost a lot of subscribers during that expansion, although not as dramatically as now.

yes - wod is utter crap, basically every class i play is broken/boring or unviable; pvp is lame and there's really not much you can do in draenor... and wtf - garrisons?! imho, mop was way better (while still far from being perfect) and timeless isle was just so much fun from a pvp perspective :)

Fabián Jiménez Here's a different take, I never socialized in WoW since I never played hardcore, I only played for the story. Evidently I did dungeons to further the story but I never did raids since I had no time. WoD brining the garrison was a blessing TO ME because finally I could have a place of my own where I can do things. This never stopped me from exploring, however. In the past I would sit either in Undercity or Orgrimmar doing fuck-all after finishing the questlines. And WoD has a decent storyline, way better than Cataclysm ever had. P.S. And to be honest, when the dust will settle on WoD people will look at it with fondness, as they always did with the previous expansions (except Cata). I remember how pissed off players were with MoP when it was on.

@@mitrooper Yea and it plays at the end of Times Change, the last 20 seconds of it. It actually became Khadgar's theme only after the composer had done the music for the WoD features trailer where the melody was used, he then developed that into it's own theme, for Khadgar.
