She does not sing in any particular language. I find her lyrics to be a mix of different languages and I am sure there is a reason for that. I still love her... singing in Kirundi or not, she is Burundian still!!!!!! Soooo proud of her!
I feel and sense that the language is of love - and Kenyarwandaise is the language she might be using - sounds an awful lot like it - off course Kirundi is also very very close to the native Rwandan language - same roots - but in effect - I love Khadja! never tired of hearing her beautiful voice and music - it makes my day that much brighter! and I feel a connection unequal in time and space! We connect to her music! at least I do!
