1) I can't tell your how long you can run the pump continuously. Buy, sometimes i have used this pump for 7 days non stop. 2) it only make noise when it is outside water otherwise it is very quiet when completely inside water. 3) Everything around us has some hazard attached with it. So, as long as the wires on the pump are in good condition(not broken or no visible metal) there is hardly any risk.

All aquarium filters, heaters and underwater lights have electrical wires going inside water. Just make sure the bare wire does not come in contact with water. Once under water it does not make much noise.

solar panel produces DC power. This Pump runs on AC power so you can't use a solar panel to run this pump.

@@jamesdelast7116 This is an AC pump not DC. you can't run this pump using a battery.

you can use layers of heat shrink tubing. if the heat shrink makes good connection with wire then it should be water proof. Still test you setup for surety.

these pumps are usually meant for coolers in which wires are directly connected to the cooler pump switch. This is why they are sold without a plug.

These pumps are made for water. There is no risk of shock unless there is a break in the wire.

yes, you can use this pump for removing dirty water from the tank but just using a pipe and siphoning the tank is a better option.

yes. it works on 220vlots. You can directly plug this in your home socket.

On this particular pump there is no input part where a pipe can be connected but there are several submersible pumps available that comes with a inlet as well. However, submersible pumps are meant to be used while submerged as that is how they are cooled passively.

no, Air stone will only work with air pump. This pump cannot be modified to work as a air pump because an air pump has a diaphragm and check valves which are not present in this pump.

But for now i can tell you that, you just put the pump in your pond, the pump will pump water into a container full of filtration media(sponge, High surface area objects,Activated carbon) then the water from the container will flow back into the pond.

@DIPTA DAS There is no difference in aquarium pumps and cooler pumps so, you can use them 24x7 continuously. Rest is your luck. yes, you can use it as a return pump but remember this pump can pump water to a height of 1.5 meters. IF your main tank is sitting higher than that then look for some other more powerful pump.

you can use a water valve on the input of the pump but not on the output, Because a valve on the output will put back pressure on the pump which can damage the pump in the long run. Because these are submersible pump there is no input for the pump. To solve this problem. simply attach two pipe to the output of your pump, put one of the pipe back into the tank and attach a water valve to the other output pipe. This pipe water flow can be controlled without damaging the pump because the extra pressure is relieved by the extra pipe that we attached to the output(which goes back into the tank)

@@gurribuy I am confused actually as Some people are using power head /submersible pump inside aquarium to pump water to the cannister and some tutorials show the pump is kept inside the cannister which works via siphon! Don't know which one is more effective

@@aniruddh-chakravorty Both ways will work, but pump inside the tank is a little easier. However, if you decide to put the pump in canister then it will be difficult to seal the canister because of the wire that powers the pump also if the siphon breaks, you have to manually start the siphon But if the pump is in the tank you don't have to worry about siphoning and the power cable of the pump.
