Definitely. Both the books are equally good. Both the books will make you smile, break you heart in million Pieces, show you Afganistan in the most beautiful and desvestating way. As we might never be able to go to Afganistan, Khaled's books are one way to reach there. His books teach you empathy. And I believe that is the most important thing. I love his work. And your video is beautiful too.❤️

I read A Thousand Splendid Suns and the Mountains Echoed, yet to read Kite Runner which I left after around 50 pgs. Well a thousand splendid suns is well written book, be it the plot, the characterization or the narration; but sadly I couldn't connect somehow with the Mountains Echoed. How a war impact human lives has been narrated extremely well in the thousand splendid suns.

Kite Runner book has Special place in my Heart. It was my first Khaled hosseini book. I was devastated by this book. My Heartache whenever I read this book. I couldn't get over of this book for so long time. I like Kite Runner more than A thousand splendid sun( my 2nd book of Khaled hosseini). I was depressed and tortured by a thousand splendid sun. I think that's why I can't read a thousand splendid sun again. KITE RUNNER read for 3 times... still my heartbreak for Hassan, for sohrab.

Your video compelled me to read these two books. Till date I read only one book of Hossaini's and that's "And The Mountains Echoed". I have read reviews about it where people said they didn't like it as much. But it being my first read of Hossaini's, I can say that I did liked it maybe more because I didnt read his other works. Both the books are fabulous. Tough to pick a favorite among the two. I couldn't connect to 'And the mountains echoed' either and left after reading a few pages but I intend to finish it this year. His latest 'Sea Prayer' is also beautiful though it's very short and is a letter in the form of poetry.

it's me only or someone else who think that , becz of Rahim ( the old man) , Hassan died. he was the one who called Hassan to look after that home and at last that home left abandoned. i felt very mad on Rahim , he spolied Hassan happy family ..

Hi! I am 15 years old and I recently read this book, it has now became one of favourite novels! I totally loved it! Yes It is a very strong,powerful and hard hitting book but the writing style is easy to understand. It is an extremely beautiful book & you need to read this book atleast once in ur lifetime!
