I'm going to have to disagree. As someone who owns both Angels' Share and Khamrah, The Khamrah smells far more boozy in terms of cognac. It has way better projection and smells far more pleasant. To me it smells like an Angels' Share mixed with Tobacco Vanille. It isn't too sweet. It isn't too spicy. It's literally a perfect balance in my opinion. I would recommend Khamrah over Angels' Share anytime any day. No contest.
@I am Noelle Neither of mine would be first batches. I tend to blind purchase all of my fragrances. It's like gambling, but not as painful. I would definitely agree that Khamrah is not a clone of Angels' Share or anything close to it really. They just smell and project way differently. But perhaps Angels' Share hasn't gotten enough time to grow on me quite yet. I get tons of compliments when I wear Khamrah. I haven't gotten any when wearing Angels' Share. So that's a big factor for me as well.
That's a pretty big factor for me too, but defintely not the only one. I do have fragrances nobody ever complimented me on, I still wear them with pleasure.
Khamrah could literally be a flanker to AS and sell at the exact same price point and no one would complain. As a man there’s only one word that describes Khamrah and that is beautiful
When I bought Khamrah I didn't know it was a dupe of Angel's Share. I haven't smelled Angel's Share, so no clue on how similar or dissimilar they smell- I just loved the scent from the first time I smelled it. It projects very well for me, and lasts for an easy 10-12 hours, with next day longevity if I spray my clothes. I absolutely adore Khamrah, only rating it on it's scent, rather than how close it smells to something else. When you factor in the price, I can't find a thing to dislike about it. Backup bottle worthy.
@@IamNoelle 20 cm is almost 8 inchesI, is that correct? Some of my fragrances change dramatically, dependent on atomizer spray distance, For instance, Khamrah applied at 5 inches, projects well for 2-3 hours but only lasts 6-7 hrs on skin. Applied at 4 inches, Khamrah lasts 10+ hrs, but stays closer to the skin?! Spraying too close to the skin “mutes the top notes and fragrance development.”, spraying too far and not enough fragrance is applied on skin for proper longevity. Wider area = more diffusion (Projection?) Smaller Area = less diffusion (Increased Longevity) How can I figure out the ideal spray distance for each of the fragrances in my collection? Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!
Yes, almost 8 centimeters. Before I used to spray closer to the skin, now I spray from a bigger distance, but I cannot really say that I've studied the differences in how a fragrance behaves when you change that. I will pay more attention to it. 🤗
I don’t think it’s a dupe at all. It’s like Angels’ Share and Tobacco Vanille had a baby and raised it in the Middle East. I really like it, but it’s not an AS dupe.
Such a nice surprise to see a comment from you 😘😘 Tell me your opinion if you do. I checked Amazon last night and it’s out of stock. Found it on Walmart for 76 usd. 😝
Completely agree. I wanted so much to love Ambre D'Alexandrie due to AS comparison but it lacked the booziness. The charm of AS is precisely the booziness. If this perfume lacks it, no need to talk about being dupe. But if the fragrance is good for itself, then ok..yet, i will not go crazy trying it anymore. Thanks for this review
I get it but don’t expect Lattafa or any other Middle Eastern brand to use liquor/alcohol for religious reasons. Maybe they could have worked to mimic it more but never the same. You have to consider the source….as they should consider their audience.
An accurate and great review! Aside from the bottles I'm not sure how people thought Khamrah was ever a clone of Angel's share scent wise. There are some similarities but they definitely have stark differences. Personally, I prefer the hyper dense gourmand that is Khamrah than Angel's share, just because I'm not the biggest fan of boozy notes but I get why others love it.
@@IamNoelle No, it's just that resellers are ripping people off on the internet. Most Lattafa's cost 15$ some 18$ and the pride line 25$ and they sell them for 50$.
Im just amazed how so many descibe this scent differently. I've heard more or less boozy. Ive heard more or less masculine/feminine. I've heard the dry down is close and not close. And the newest one, from Curly fragrance, she said it was less sweet where everyone has said it is more. I just ordered it more out of curiosity.
I own both but khamrah smells better on me. Khamrah last all day and it’s a good gourmand scent for cooler weather. I did wear it today at the gym and smells nice combined with sweat. Angels share doesn’t actually smell that great on my skin 😢
Angel's share vs khamrah hmmm smelling them side by side (while sniffing them rn to make a decent comparison) Both of them smell spicy, with hints of smokiness. Both of them are fall-winter festive fragances and both smell like cinnamon apple freshener inspired fragrances... the bozziness of AS makes it more interesting, less playful and more arrogant. The dry down: this is where things get interesting... the dry down is quite similar both smell alike if i didn't have sprayed my wrists i could be fooled by their similarities. But khamrah lingers longer, its more caramel (like warm gooey caramel from a caramel apple) with hints of cinnamon but gets deeper because of the benzoin and amberwood a hint bright and bitter because if of the tuberose. As dry down: not so boozy, not so strong. I still smell the cognac but it isn't that raspy I can still sense the heat of the cognac liquor, the fragance overall feels transparent, it's not pretentious, smells woody, more serious (masculine) I couldn't recommend one over the other as some noses prefer sweetness over woodiness and viceversa plus other factors. If you like memomy/nostalgia inspired perfumes like *replica by the fireplace* you might like any of these 2. About baccarat rouge 530 vs cloud...i have both and is like comparing a green crisp apple to a crisp pear. They are very different but similar. In my opinion baccarat 540 has a sharp sweetness that lingers in your nose but cloud has a gentle sweetness that sort of fades. 540 is like a noir version of cloud. If that makes sense.
Buying khamrah for 22$ i cant believe the deal i made .... Yes Killian angel's is far more "premium" but the différence in Price it makes you lean to khamrah i got tons and tons of compliment and lasts whole day Just choose a really cold weather I recommend khamrah if u never tried angel share it will give u a general idea Even ...if i think its not a full copy of it but a twist like copy me but change the answers so they dont think you copied Anyways spt on review u won a sub
@@IamNoelle yeah but that's what makes me a bit sad that people are taking advantage from the hype of these fragrance to sell it nearly x3 it price and since lattafa is not a premium or well known in the fragrances world they can can trick them for these since khamrah is something else , i can't believe how lattafa pulled these one with amazing quality
To me Khamrah smells similar to JPG La Belle le perfume version. So a redundant buy for me. Same scent family at least. I prefer La Belle. Agree not similar to AS. It’s definitely not bad for $40!
This is such a GORGEOUS scent, last long on clothes, but doesnt last on my skin unfortunately. If i macerate this beauty, will the performance get better especially on my skin
I wanted to buy khamrah, after i bought fire your desire, just to have a back up for fire your desire-which is Impossible to find. Unfortunately, khamrah is out of stock, too. I think that angel's share is a great fragrance, there are a lot of dupes on the market, marhaba-insane, mysu has one. But i think that the original stays the original. I love fire your desire, IT has similarities to angel's share, but it's not angel's share. I still love IT as its own. It's a sweet, woody fragrance, IT creates this image in my mind: me standing in front of a fireplace, eating an Apple pie, powdered with sugar on top. It's a great fragrance, especially for this time of the year, i find IT suitable for the Holiday season. And unfortunately, i can understand why IT's hard to find IT on the market, because there are so many dupes 😔. Great review, i enjoyed watching this video, i think it's great that You compared these Two fragrances that are so hyped right now. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Oh wow, I am so curious about Fire you desire. I checked Khamrah last night, to see if it’s back in stock and could not find it. I love wearing sweet-spicy fragrances for Christmas and around it. Apple pie, cherry pie, cinnamon, give me all 🥰🥰
Everyone I've heard that have smelled this said they smell the booze, but they can't list it because of their culture. You're the first I've heard to say u couldn't smell it. Noses really do differ.
I have khamrah it is great but i didn't like the huge cap. I tossed the cap and box into the trash. The bottle looks so much more normal without the cap.
@@IamNoelle I didn't hate it. But since it was so cheap (the price and the plastic cap) I figured to toss it bc it made my collection weird looking bc of that cap. If it was very expensive I would have kept the cap of course.
Don't care if khmarah smell like angel share if it had tom ford on it for 300$ I promise it will sale out and be one his best saler ever actual any big name on it will be there top saler
Yea we live by name even thou that person build a reputation for there fragrance it matter what in that bottle how it smell on your skin khmarah is a masterpiece if you wear in the right setting and clothes
Noelle, Hello! I've been a passionate collector since 2013 & after owning the kilian fragrance, I decided to purchase kamrah to find out if it was close. You are spot on in your analysis & comparison between both. I wore it to work last wk and as soon as I walked into the bldg a wave of compliments just start coming. I found also the kamrah amps up & gets more intense with body perspiration. People could smell me from a far distance when I began perspiring from work. And you are correct, in that it should not be worn it hot weather & I think it works & performs better in cooler weather. Like you, while I think it's a great scent, Angel shares I prefer over kamrah. As I'm new to your channel Ill subscribe, as I liked your break down between these two frags. Thanks again! A2! : > )
@@IamNoelle Noelle, Shalom! Since I became a passionate collector starting in 2013, I've probably acquired over the hrs just over 300 bottles all purchased by me. But I've sold or gifted & blessed many to family & friends & my currently collection is just under 200. My arsenal mainly consists of rare, hard to find, discontinued ftags that could fall into the category of items coveted by many in the frag community. 1. Green valley= Creed 21948 JFK Vetiver 3. Westbrook= Byredo 4. Plum Japonai= TF 5. Single Malt= By Kilian 6. Sables(vintage bottle)= Annicka Goutal 7. Arsene lupin Voyou= Guerlain 8. DERBY = Guerlain 9. What matters is inside= Jovoy Etc etc etc! ---------------------------------------------- My most recent purchase is a limited release by Zarhoff called * 2nd Soul. Done in collaboration with young jazz musician & teacher * JUSTIN COPELAND. Are you familiar with him. He has a youtube channel & if your interested in this fragrance you still may be able to get a bottle depending on if you reside here in the state's. $160.00 for a 120ML Extrait. The idea behind name of fragrance is layered but basically it pertains to seeing the best qualities of oneself reflected in one's spouse, husband or even a dear relative that you love. I've slowed down a great deal, as I've come to learn that * Less is Better & that we should enjoy & appreciate what we have, at least in my humble opinion! How large is your collection? Maybe you've shown it on your channel perhaps!. Let me know & thanks for reaching out. I've subscribe & will be watching. A2! P. S. If you live in America, hope you had a blessed thanksgiving. : > )
First of all, oh, WOW! You have some beauties in your collection. I do live in the US, yes. I hope you had a great Thanksgiving too. Less sometimes is more, especially when you are further in your frag journey. You gotta tell me what A2 means. 😅
@@IamNoelle Noelle, Shalom My new fragrant friend! I watched your entire collection video & you've acquired a very nice collection there. We do have some similar taste loving * Honey Aoud, Pardon, Gypsey Water. I actually have the EDC 250ML bottle & like you I love it. I think of all the brand's, I own more from Guerlain=10, with Serge Lutens=9, Xerjoff=8 right behind. Romania! Now I understand without having looked at your bio, why I may have thought you were living in another country. I've been to Israel & Jordan, who knows, Romania possibly when I retire. Hahaha! Hey i come back to update you about the fragrance that I talked about yesterday, the Armaf Oros blooming Magguey, which was claimed to be a clone of Killian Angel Share. well after the first sniff, I was very disappointed because it has nothing in common with angel share. It is more like a clone of Issey Miyae, rose and roses, or Lancome idole type of thing. It is a rosy, fruity, floral light and young. The scent is good but it's definitely not a dupe of angel share. don't try it 😅
To my nose it goes the other way around, khamrah smells "manlier" and less sweet to me. I don't like labeling fragrances to men or women but if would that's what i think, and i prefer the less sweeter Khamrah, I live in a tropical country and Angel's share is too gourmand, doesn't feel right in this weather, while khamrah I find it much easier to pull off, beautiful fragrance.
I was about to buy Angel share as it was more masculine and has an awe around it. I know the price is massively different but feel it is much more extraordinary. I would like to hear if you would change my mind or agree with me.
On me, throughout the life of the perfumes I get like a woodsy smell on Angel’s Share that I don’t get on Khamrah. I’m still trying to develop my nose so I’m not sure if that’s from cognac or the wood notes. But Khamrah is sweeter, and it’s a beautiful perfume in its own right.
I liked Fire your desire , although I wish that it would last longer. It's weak . 2 hours :( Such a shame, really. And others had complained about it too.
Layer with for example Dior Fahrenheit, E. Armani SWY Absolutely or (a much cheaper alternative) Joop Homme Wild, in order to making it more boozy/sexy. 😎
@@IamNoelleYes, but I (almost) always layer fragrances. 😎👍 PS: Bentley For Men Intense could be an (affordable) option as well, because of the boozy note, which I haven't tried yet.
Good review but unfortunately because of RU-vidrs promoting Arabic perfumes they have sky rocketed in prices 😂, we use to buy them here in middle east for less then $5 now same ones are over $20 good news for west bad for us.
Oh really? 🥺 Wow, these brands take advantage of the hype that is created. I would say that brands are more to blame than creators in this whole thing...
@@IamNoelle yes, I'm not blaming RU-vidrs 😂, it's bad for aur pockets but good for aur industry in the long term ( thank you) , can you do reviews on original Arabic perfumes not the clones.
So no boozy.. alot of sweet i hear.. i really like wanted by night, so i ordered this the moment fragrancebuy got it in stock.. hope i like it when it comes..😅
Does this smell Christmasy and like Christmas candles? Really want to jump on the hype train, give in and take the plunge with this one and blind buy it but god am I terrified of this smelling festive because I’m sorry but I just HATE festive smells and given this is nearly a whopping $100 where I am.. I am terrified of the outcome 😭
I didn't think about it first, but it might be a bit Christmasy, now that you asked and I thought from that perspective. I am talking about Khamrah here, not AS.
It doesn’t when you smell them side by side on the skin or on paper. Do you think they don’t smell alike in the air either? I have tested this theory a few times.
I don't agree with most of what she said and Khamrah smell's nothing remotely close to baccarat rouge 540 in any way. Khamrah for the smell and price point youcan'tt beat it.
@@IamNoelle I'll still love you... ☺️❤️ I have find you to have a very similar traits as mine. Let me know. It's serious kind of attraction for me towards you. 🥺
I finally got the chance to smell Khamrah. 😆 It's pretty weak and a little cheap smelling ,I really don't understand the hype about it. Sooo glad I haven't purchase it at that ridiculous price !😅 It has nothing to do with Angel's Share.
Oh really, one thing that is different is that on me, Khamrah is very strong. Otherwise, I totally agree 😅 not much in common with AS and prices went up like crazy after lots of positive (fake) reviews 🤣
