I feel like insulting somebody's black belt is one of the worst things someone can say about you when your whole life is about martial arts. I remember Rogan talking about how giving away a bad black belt can be really bad for the reputation of a jujitsu gym. I bet in dagestan, it's close to religion to them.
In poland we have to go through a 3 hour certification training containing every single technique, poom sae and sparings against 1, 2 and 3 opponents for a taekwondo black belt Islam is so goddamn right about their belts. Those are pathetic disgraces of martial arts

Tbf Kevin is notorious for being a bad wrestler and also it only took 1 punch to end Gerald. Not saying Gerald is a bad fighter but we can't assume he wouldn't have been dominated on the ground either. I mean seriously. Khamzat definitely has proven himself. The real test would be against Colby. Who is capable of being rocked. But has great wrestling and cardio. Perfect matchup. Because khamzat might lack 5 round cardio but Colby has exploitable standup when regarding knockout power

I did mma for 5 years and going and my instructor used to tell me "the belt just holds your fucking pants up kid" and It has never been more of a true statement

He's not wrong, some establishments (especially in the US) give out black belts when they shouldn't even be qualified to be able to use belts. A black belt should be able to walk into most establishments and be able to put most blue or purple belts into deep waters, not accounting for outliers of course but it shouldn't be hard to grade skill sets and overall performance when your entire business depends on an art and it's credentials/credibility.
@@CH-tr3ri well lets see. His first opponent after Khamzat is 33 in his last 6 fights. The guy after that is 3-2 in his last 5. The guy after that is 2-4 in his last 6. Then he lost to a guy who is 24-6. His last fight was against a bum. Those guys are bums compared to Khamzat who is 12-0

These guys are fighting in the best MMA organisation on the planet. By definition, they are not bums. Stop using the word so loosely. Also, his first opponent after Khamzat was 7-3 in his last 10. His second opponent was 8-2 in his last 10. His third opponent was 6-4. His fourth win was 7-3. Let's give people a better picture, if you want to cite records instead of just choosing the pieces of their records that suit your argument.
