Say what you want but Nate always takes the hardest fights. He's been in the ufc since 2007 and at 37 he's fighting the toughest guy in the sport. Included Khamzat nates last 3 opponents will all get title shots after nate. He's the real ultimate fighter 💯💯
Absolutely true. You can see He's slowed down a bit, but he still takes on the Absolutely hardest guys. Ngl I am a little concerned about the damage He's about to take
Agreed. I think if anyone can do it, it's Nate. I think Nate could beat Gilbert and Gilbert almost beat Khamzat. Either way I'm a Diaz fan for life, and I really like Khamzat too. Gonna be a banger for sure.
@@tylerj3088 Still going to make more than he has in previous fights by a substantial amount. Mcgregor was a money fight for diaz he still made alot more than previous fights while earning alot less than mcgregor. It's kinda the making of a star from what we have seen :)
It's the mentality of a man but I don't blame you because being a man now days seems like this superhero warrior type of thing. Trial and error, it's the foundation of human development.
@@kislayberi immigrant mentality is a real thing too. When you have no safety net, no family down the road or anyone to rely on but yourself. Creates a different type of person.
I have respect for him after this. His honesty is admirable. With that said, I’m rooting for Diaz but may the best man win. Both warriors deserve respect
My one big take away from this is that this is a huge mma fan who now is competing at the highest level. Really cool to hear him talking about looking up to all these guys he's fighting
@@poatan6304 McGregor wasn’t poor. That was a fake made up sob story to sell to fools like u who believed it. Both of McGregor’s parents had decent jobs and they lived in a middle class household. He wasn’t a millionaire but he was far from poor. Khamzat on the other hand truly was and didn’t need a fake made up story like McGregor.
To me it's so interesting and it really amazes me how some non english MMA fighters get so good at giving interviews in a foreign language. Come on they got to be smart people don't they?
@@hoptoit5910 arrogance would be inflating one’s own abilities or achievements. Khamzat hasn’t said anything that he hasn’t already done or would do, so it is confidence by definition
Khamzat is one of the most fascinating fighters ever to me. He's what I truly imagine an ancient noble savage would have been like. Has a compulsive thirst for battle and wants to 'kill everybody' but also seems to be a genuinely good, nice guy. Wholesome murderer lol
"Sometimes it's hard to go and (get) coffee like normal people...Somebody's yelling smesh everybody, kill everybody...hey bro, it's 7 o'clock in the morning." This guy is hilarious
Look at how Khamzat helps homeless people. He often helps in food kitchens. He knows how it is, because he was homeless and didn’t have money for food.
The more i see of him, the more I think he’s probably a good dude. Especially when the schtick is off. Despite what he says, he speaks fantastic English.
@@SeanLivesTrue. I was referring more to the screaming “kill everybody” thing. I’m sure he feels like he can whoop anyone, but it’s nice to see his more human/humble side.
Honestly I don’t always understand what he says, but gotta appreciate the effort he puts in speaking english. Knowing that will get him more attention obviously but still he never bothers to bring a translator, not even for full interviews. Respect !
I am from Sweden I have been following Khamzat from the start. I hope he wins. At the same time it is impossible not to love Nate Diaz for everything he has done for the MMA sport. Nate is a great guy and I wish him all the best.
@@mrpopo-sf3ke He's ethnically Chechen, but he lives in Sweden, and he fully embraced it. His Caucasus war mentality with old Viking is a good mixture, tho Sweden largely modernized to carry on that Viking tradition..
@@ThatFoolJoe209 24-0 in just his pro wrestling career and 11-0 in mma. 35-0 mixed pro fights. Don’t forget Khamzat third fright was up against the legendary combat Sambo warrior named Ikram Aliskerov. Aliskerov was undefeated and his only loss is to Khamzat. Khamzat knocked him out cold. It was such a precise knockout. To this day, Aliskerov only loss is to Khamzat. He’s also 185. Let that sink in. He’s also phenomenal! I honestly did not think Khamzat would beat someone of that caliber. Aliskerov is one of Khabibs friends. Nobody seen Khamzat gonna win that fight. That’s why Khabib said he was gonna be hardest guy to beat once he gets to UFC. He’s never seen anyone do that to Aliskerov. So I understand you are just a casual watcher, so I figured I would school you in on some hard cold facts. When you say 4 fights, you sound uneducated, because you are so far off with reality. You are a Nate fan boy because you smoke. Your name says it all. Hopefully you can read everything I wrote and understand it.
@@ryanb8736 Totally agree with you some people don't understand khamzat is a very top level fighter great in all aspects of mixed martial arts. His fight with Aliskerov was as good as advertised and that upper cut knockout was one of the cleanest knockout i've ever seen so precise and technically placed. All respect to Nate diaz he's a legend in this sport but Khamzat's gonna eat him
@@mmacrash7741 Exactly! I’m glad you seen what I see. I watch Brave fights too, to see what other talent is out there. I knew Aliskerov was Khabibs close friend and was watching him. I actually had no idea who Khamzat even was at time of watching that fight. He was a complete nobody. He only had three mma fights under his belt. I said the whole time, Khamzat will never take down Aliskerov to wrestle on the ground. Then all of a sudden Khamzat throws a well executed strike and it lands so dead on. I was is total shock. When they announced he was coming to UFC shortly after that, I said all my money is on him. Khabib even said that Khamzat is gonna be huge trouble for UFC fighters. Khamzat beat Khabibs friend. Total domination. Aliskerov is thinking about coming to UFC at 185. He’s gonna be very dominant too. A rematch with Khamzat will be in the works.
I'm a Diaz fan, always will be and I'm still pulling for him to find a way to win this fight, but how can you not like Khamzat, he's a no frills, honest guy, what you see is what you get....
They don’t hate khamzat, they hate his fan base. Khamzat is legit and more than likely going to be champion, but the fans act like he’s beaten the best of the best and has been champ for years.
The burns fight was a bit confusing for khamzat because he wanted to finish him but the coaches were screaming for him to stick to the game plan and just jab
Khamzat is a breathe of fresh air and can go into kill mode at a click of a finger, I like almost everything he says no bs straight to point. Massive respect
I suspect he has more concern and respect for his opponents than he lets on. After the Gilbert fight, he visited a supine Gilbert, tapped him on his chest, shook hands and said "Good fight. I love you brother."
Nearly all fighters respect all fighters... You have to in order to train, the moment you stop respecting them you get caught in training. He's a lifelong wrestler he isn't a street fighter. He knows what grinding feels like.
He has said many times he loves and respects all fighters. But he says inside the cage he doesn’t respect anybody that’s where the war begins. But outside of the cage he respects all his opponents.
Love this guys mindset, he's aware of what a loss especially a knockout can do to champions especially after Burns fight and watching Kamaru vs Leon. Around 14:08 he talks about it and sounds pretty ready for anything that's gonna happen in his next fights. I'm excited!
Usman was dominating though. Then caught with a kick it can happen anyone can get kod by one good punch / kick. You can come back from that. What is harder to come back is taking a beating in a fight or a beating and then a ko
@@drhazy2232 Khabib retired too early. I am not discrediting his resume as it was fantastic but everyone loses at some point. Even all these undefeated professionals lost as amateurs. Everyone can beat on any given day. I think he would have lost at some stage.
It's impossible to build anything up for this fight. Nate Diaz hasn't won a fight in years, is 37 years old, it's his last fight in the UFC, Khamzat is a straight killer, young and hungry. This makes no sense, it's shameful for the UFC to even make this fight.
This dude only has been training mma for 5 years it’s crazy how good he is…. It also shows why he didn’t listen to the coach in that burns fight , cuz he’s inexperienced and just wanted to bang! I can see him being champ for sure if Leon stays champ.
he beats usman - and yes i been saying that before Leon got that top 5 crazy finish of all time - but Usman will win his belt back - but i hope he does not get it back and just move to 205
@@TheGEOPOLITICIANGUY oh I agree especially now after usman just lost. Khamzat is a huge 70’r. I would love to see khamzat vs Izzy cuz Izzy is so hard to take down but I think with khamzats size and wrestling background he could get him down!
No kidding man. I'm not some tough guy but most fighters don't really scare me. If I ever came across khamzat I'd be quite intimidated. Even as a fan I'd be hesitant to approach him for a picture. Dude is ice cold and likes hurting people
Khamzat it's an extremely likable fella. I really like his straightforward thinking and answers. He certainly doesn't pull any punches. it's amazing how you can take charge with such a passive voice
Khamzat is such a young kid who has some amazing skills. His pro wrestling is 24-0 and now his mma is 11-0. Can’t wait to see him in his prime when he gets even more experienced.
Why are you khamzat bandwagon fans so delusional he hasn’t shown anything impressive or even championship qualities he got almost finished by burns lmao
LOVE getting to know a bit more about this guy. He always seems like a robot strictly made for killing. Good to see he's got a sweet side. Looks so confortable in this interview
Well my friend, I commented earlier bout this, I respect all these guys but this is a fight not a war, if he was born for war he would be in military somewhere not octagon, but the sad thing is, they make more money than the military that go to war for real
@Bonbony Cema absolutely I agree with you, hopefully no one gets seriously hurt her, but it’s still not “war”, I lost close friends in “real war” with real bullets.. y’all have a great night and be safe, gonna be a great card
Interviewer: “So, can you tell me how you feel on this controversial abstraction we’ve hand-tailored to get a good quote from you?” Khamzat: “I came to fight”
@@Mikey-gp5xc Don't know , probably Nate so he can screw the UFC out of their money as EVERYONE wants to see this fight, it will be his way of sticking it to them
"Get the money and go home and do some fun things"...hit the nail on the head man, simple and straightforward. Honestly, I can't even see what exactly a win against a dude way past his prime will do for him after just facing Burns.
his interviews were always terrible. His questions used to be long-winded, three - four questions in one with a rhetorical question thrown in also. Just boring
5:58 "When he speaks, I'll be honest with you, I don't understand so much." lol. Khamzat, Nate and I speak the same language and I usually have no idea what he is saying. The California gangster life has its own mumble.
Don’t know how a fight fan could hate him. He’s an elite fighter so early in his career. His wrestling is spectacular and probably best in UFC. He’s got a lot of respect for others and has a big heart. Look at all the good he does for homeless people.
@Max Shirinov then he isn’t no phenomenon lmao. Took khamzat only 3 fights to fight burns while shavkats fighting Neil magny in his 4th fight. The real bada$$ here is khamzat, tf are you talking about ?😂
Khamzat,s Coach has done a brilliant job at keeping him mentally grounded. In my opinion he is the best coach on the planet. When Khamzat wins gold it's because his coaching staff
A ridiculous question, without which we would never have heard Khamzat's wonderful answer about breaking the slapping record with 100 slaps, while tying up Nate's arm. I prefer this timeline.
Khamzat is the calmest, most soft-spoken straight killer I've ever seen man. He knows he can twist Brett into a pretzel at any moment 😂 on a real note, everyone needs to get off Brett's nuts unless they have some greater broadcasting achievement to boast of. You just hate em cause you AINT EM 🤣
@@MMA_GOLD8 you said that same exact thing about Burns. What happened there? If khamzat even has the gas tank to make it to the 4th that will be incredible. If it goes past the 4th I give khamzat no chance whatsoever. And yall really think that Colby wouldn't Dogg walk him. Delusional
