The difference between cocky and confidence is ability. As long as you have the ability you'll never be cocky. PS: I have a duck video, a chicken video, a video where i am begging for money on Twitter, a walking video... Also a patreon
This production team has done a great job showing the funny side, the crazy side and the serious side of Khamzat. Seems like Darren made a solid call by making this all happen too
@KAT this actually makes sense. He may be a virgin but who knows. I think that above all, his success comes from his insane training schedule and passion for the game
@KAT the guy is so determined and passionate about MMA that he actually inspires me to be the same but not for fighting but for other areas of my life lol. He is contagious
What I love about Chimaev is that he’s extremely confident but humble enough to know that he has a lot to learn and people to learn from. He’s hungry to seek out the best training partners and coaches to improve.
Imagine seeing that fucking corner opposite you in a fight; McGregor, Cejudo, and Jones cornering your opponent, Khamzat Chimaev, arguably the scariest Welterweight to have ever graced the Octagon.
His english has improved so much. It really gives some insight on how intelligent of a person Khamzat is. Now that he's able express himself more articulately in a language that is understood by many more people. This isn't the old days where the biggest steroid meathead reigns. To be truly successful in this sport nowadays, the brains is just as, if not more important than the brawn.
Thought the exact same thing when he was talking towards the end of the video. He’s smart and understands both the fight game and the business side of it.
@@kuradushma4300 Nah he probably doesnt, I am chechen myself and mostly we know how to READ Quran, but reading Quran and speaking modern arabic is very different
@@lovelycourses5503 being a psychopath doesn't make you a bad guy, being a psychopath who choose to do bad things make you a bad guy. Lot's of psychopats just live their normal daily lives without hurting people, because they are not stupid.
The end scene just shows what great intelligence Khamzat has with who he'd like to train with and his thoughts on Conor. No disrespect to Conor's team but he would benefit greatly making the move to train with Khamzat and Darren
Chimaev n till have amazing chemistry though. Conor would need to seriously adjust his ego or it’s not gonna work and it may ruin a good thing. Kavanaugh has said it’s hard for most people to work w Conor cuz of his ego n personality. It ain’t hard to see.
Conor used to do all kinds of unorthodox and even silly stuff. I wonder why he changed that. It seemed like it was his thing to do these crazy workouts and use obscure trainers. I have no proof but I think that kind of stuff made him more unpredictable and harder to read during fights. GSP still does different stuff all the time on his gram.
@@enjayflave When you have millions in the bank and titles, it's hard to get that hunger back when you've made it. Chimaev and Till have that hunger and need to become Champions. Conor does it for the publicity and not for the fight game.
And smart for thinking about going to multiple different gyms, picking up the trade from multiple perspectives, I agree that Cejudo could probably help.
Nice to see his more calm and relaxed side, especially after all that training. You can tell he's a very smart guy as well, he knows who he needs to train with to get better and how he can become a bigger star.
I get goosebumps watching these vids. It gives me a different type of energy to go hard in the gym or anything to achieve my goals. Everybody needs a bromance like Khamzat and Till 🐺🦍♥️
I honestly hope Dana starts prioritizing the monsters like Khamzat who can fight on the regular. Why we had to wait until April 7th is beyond me. Make sure this guy gets fights asap, while he's hungry, and on the come up/prime.
This team will go down in history, so glad we are getting moments documented like this. Thank you to Khamzat/All Stars, and this amazing editor/videographer.
Khamzat! A true classy man. He understands the game very few fighter do. Hes a true warrior that will reach unbelievable heights. I will be here watching and cheering for him!!!
He’s definitely special & can be one of the greats but there’s absolutely no way he could be triple champ , those boys at 205 are huge compared to khamzat...
@@lamosos Na , if I had to guess he prolly walks around at like 188-196 ..most of the top lhw’s walk around at 220-230 & Till is noticeably bigger than him so I wouldn’t even consider him a bigger than average middleweight
@@KAT-xi3ol That's the thing tho, his frame is good for lhw, if he bulks up he could definitely fight there but it won't be for a while. And when he "bulks up" aka doesn't cut he's around 96 kg which I think is more than 210 lbs so with a little time he could easily build up to 230 but obviously not while fighting at 170 aswell but I don't think that's what he means either. He just want's to get belts in three divisions. The Philips fight is a very bad comparison considering he was meant to do his debut at 170 but stepped in on short notice. If he had been at his usual weight when he took the fight he would've never been able to cut down to 170 in a week, that would've been like 30 pounds right after cutting down to 185.
Khamzat, brother, may Allah (SWT) grant you victory to become a triple champion, Inshaallah. Keep focused, stay out of trouble brother, stay humble, keel working hard, and you will be victorious, INSHAALLAH. 🤲✊✊✊✊👍
“Don’t give up” Khamzat to Hooker. I doubt Dan is even remotely thinking about retirement but it’s nice to hear words of encouragement from Khamzat there. Even if it is a passing phrase. Warrior respect.
@@indeedConfirmed I hope he knocks him down and then submits him so people don't say it's a fluke, but even if on the off chance that he loses, I'll still support the guy, he's great and deserves it.
For some reason a guy like this being homesick and wanting to return to his roots is surprisingly wholesome. Love this guy and hope he continues to rise through the ranks, definitely one of my favorite fighters right now👌🏽
It's incredible how Khamzat predicts every fight so accurately, iv'e seen him give a quick take on a few fights before and he is always right on the outcome and how, crazy, shows how well he understands the sport!
It's actually hilarious that he's basically becoming the boogeyman of mma and he's reaching out to his potential competition letting them know he's willing to help them. It's almost like he's bored of these guys and wants to make them better so he can get a better fight with them. Pure insanity.
It’s good to see him just relaxing, training, and thinking he’s not a psychopath all the time and the video showed that. He seems like he just worked hard for everything he got and from that he builds confidence. Literally my favorite fighter right now.
I think you miss spelled Leon. Look Kamzat is great im a dick rider as well. We talking about "deserve". I could name atleast 8 UFC fighters that have been around longer with bigger winning streaks that need title shots. Let be real Kamzat has been fast tracked hes not hurting for a title shot he only has a hand full of fights and is about to get one. "deserve". what does that even mean .
@@grandpu659 Leon is getting the title that's already said and made to happen just waiting on Usman to fully recover. For Khamzat he should fight one more time perhaps on that card with Usman vs Edwards. Have him fight like the winner of Vicente vs Belal or even Colby for a #1 contender fight or whatever.
Well said Khamzat!! Jon Jones (like it or not) fought and put away Monsters, which HE made look easy, gotta respect Chimiev for recognising skills Jon has that he might learn. How can u not love that
As much as I like his mentality, confidence and humbleness, it’s the fact that he remains a student of the game I might be reaching but he on some Bruce Lee type shit 🔥 🐺 sick vlog
Crazy that he's offering to give McGregor some help in training imagine seeing Connor Darren and Khamzat training together that would be some legendary scenes
@@chad5577 He’s still young. As he gets older he could put on plenty of old man muscle. Still early to call him triple champ but dude’s got some major potential.
It feels like we are a part of his journey, sharing his thoughts on how things will play out. Quite the transparent guy, Khamzat seems to have a good balance of caring about his emotions from his upbringing as well as open-mindedness to adjust to the business and the fame game as well. Almost like a mix of Conor and Khabib, someone whos learning to work the cameras as much as digging into the depths of the mixed martial arts. Legend in the making.
This guy is truly humble. The difference between confidence and arrogance is such a fine line, this guy is confident, yet extraordinarily humble. He’s everything Khabib and his fanboys wish Khabib he was.
Khabib prays everyday you don’t know him from a bar of soap, if your telling me that’s not humble then your lying to yourself, khabib doesn’t have to post his personal life on the internet just to fish for compliments, khabib is the definition of humble
@@always420smoking8 Yeah making fun of homeless and talking shit to people on instagram are the exact definition of humble. Lol wtf. I am a Khabib fan too btw. Khamzat is just a genuine guy. He is who he showed us he is. He doesn't do the 'humble in front of camera' kinda shit. That's it.
It's his obsessive love for fighting that's got me sold on this guy. You can tell he literally is thinking about fighting 24/7, a student of the game and a fan at the same time
He seems more concerned about knockouts when he's watching it on TV, rather than when he's in there himself. Empathy is a great trait for a human being!
@@thegooch27 man his whole family is living there. He wants time to time get opportunity to go back there. If he dont do that maybe he will 'ot have a chanse to go back there and maybe his family will het in trouble. This situation is more deep thzn you think brother. Dont judge the book by the cover!
After watching his past and what he is now all I can say is his reign is just beginning. The way he study fights, he observe all weakness strength is very serious.Truly humble but also real warrior heart fighter +rising star cause his vision is clear .
I love this guy's attitude, he's confident but respectful to those he thinks deserve respect. It will be interesting to see where it all goes. If Connor comes back and gets a title shot just because, then I see Chimaev should he get by Burns like everyone else, then a big money fight with Colby Covington, and if that goes well, then Usman... only time will tell
Damn love how Khamzat has something good or constructive to say about every fighter, he could be better he has good this, just train harder, get faster. Apart from Khamzat saying he smash everybody, you know he has more than just a fighter mentality theres a respect across the board almost like a seasoned trainer.
As a massive Conor fan I have no problem in admitting he's lost a few steps, his game has stagnated. He needs to get away from the yes men surrounding him.
He’s such a great role model. Love the idea of him seeking out to train with CCC and especially Jon Jones. The Conor thing is also amazing. He’s giving Conor a free pass so he won’t have to fight him lol, Conor should take it. Du är kung Khamzat
I love watching all the videos cause it’s like a documentary and we are seeing the differently stages but also there’s the funny side of it all of it together works so well We love the SMESH BROTHERS❤️
You deserve a chance at the title Khamzat. You have earned it with your skills and performances my man 👍 that's really cool of you to be understanding and open to Usman McGregor and training with McGregor. I'd love to see that.
I really like this guy; He is about to become a CHAMP, CHAMP, CHAMP very quickly... all this year the countdown begins. His character, humble life and his drive is from a higher level all together.
Its so humbling listening to Khamzat talk about Dan Hooker like that, usually you hear him always say he smashes everyone and he always talks smack to other fighters, but man he can acknowledge real shit and thats what he said about Dan
It's amazing to see a fighter who not only has the skills, but he understands the business very well. And he's always looking at how to get better. Can you imagine just how much he could grow by seeking out Henry's camp and work with Jon Jones? Someone who is not only much bigger, but has the best resume of any active fighter. I really hope it happens.
My man Borz is not at all speaking of Burns as though there’s a chance he will lose. He is absolutely looking past him with utter confidence. I just want to say that it is absolutely fresh air to watch Khamzat fight and grow. Everything you need to be a champion he has. Period.💯
Man I wish nothing but success for this guy he’s honestly pretty humble in his own way and not a cocky constant shit talking idiot like that foo masvidal or mcgregor. Also learning about his past and how his aunt passed away due to lack of money to fund her surgical procedures is just heartbreaking man… that’s what got him fighting so fucking fearlessly and ruthlessly…
Khamzat is smart as hell, he doesn't talk shit lets his "work" do the talking. Now he is associating himself with fan favorites and trying to train with only champs. This is how you become a big name without self hype!
I absolutely love this guy, imagine having a friend like him and how motivated you would be because of him, he's soo focused on achieving his goals and its fascinating to watch
