Educator and entrepreneur Sal Khan is working to bring free education to the world. The founder of Khan Academy, a non-profit organization that offers free educational content online, joins "CBS This Morning" to discuss mastery learning. I support Khan Academy monthly, it's not a heap of money, but at least it's something. I'd encourage others to do so too. This man is trying to change the world for the better and has helped my academic endeavors immensely!

I'm 49 years old. I used Khan Academy to brush up on Algebra and Calculus before taking a University Physics I course (using the GI Bill to get a degree after 20 years in the Army). It helped me a lot so I started giving $5 a month to Khan Academy. It's my best-spent $5 every month.

I like Khan Academy, but that bit at the end about it being non-profit... well, it may be so legally-speaking, but I'd be interested in hearing how he justifies his 800,000$ annual salary.
