The Khantoke Dinner and dance show give tourists a chance to sample customary o northern Thai food while watching colorful cultural dances at the Old Chiang Mai Cultural Center.
During dinner, guests sit on bamboo mats on the floor and are served a variety of food in large platters like chicken and pork curry, fried chicken, sticky rice, vegetables with a spicy chili dip, and more. Food is served in low tables and served family-style for sharing- a practice common with the Lanna people of northern Thailand.
The Khantoke Dinner lasts around two hours. Throughout the show, your food is topped up and you can also order beverages like beer, soft drinks, or whiskey (not included in the dinner rate). Hotel pickup can also be arranged to go to the Old Chiang Mai Cultural Center for the Khantoke dinner.
