Sir please answer this What should be the minimum amount to invest in your smallcases considering the minimum fees of 28320 per year for BMtop10 and 35400 for small cap and on top of that there will be short and long term tax as this is not a mutual fund.. Sir I am not complaining here OR questioning your pricing,, your experience and expertise are unmatched personally what do you think is reasonable fee as percentage 2% or 3% or 4%..
Re: Nitin Gadkari road counting, I would have loved a more nuanced take from Basant ji given his strong business model understanding. I am given to understand this current way is a good way to compare “amount of road work completed” across eras and across 2-lane, 4-lane, 6-lane projects. “Fafda” in Gujarat comes to mind. Fafda lamba ( long) or multiple shorter fafda( same width and shorter) is the same production effort.

I want to invest in automative consumer growth which will happen in india over the next 5 to 8 years.. which industry M&M or Tata motors according to you is stronger in terms of financials and future growth aspects? I compared a lot, almost all parameters look similar - PE, ROI , Market cap etc . One aspects i see is Tata motors hold far bigger debt.. not as an investment advice but atleast as a comparison of buiness models, could you spend 30 seconds?

Morning Basant Ji, I'm a 23 year old with a corpus close to 15 Lakhs, I have an option to join the Indian Army for a period of 10 years which will offer me a stable avg yearly income of 18L with little to no expenses, Ive been investing for 3 years now and have a solid system which I plan to consistently improve in varying market conditions. My question is whether I should try and get into an Ivy League in the US for an MBA and spend my own and most of my father's corpus for the same or join the army and after retirement do the MBA or pursue other opportunities down the line with my own corpus. My own wish in one line of thinking is to also have that bit of army life experiences which civil life will never have in store for me. Can you please tell us why stock price growth is not always reflective of EPS growth. There are many companies and I am just giving you an example of 1 such company in which EPS grew by 8 times in over 9 years but stock has only given 29 CAGR.
