you see the brilliance of this song is this that it shows you the glass filed with water is not half empty but it is full of life. what makes me sad the people who worked on this song like mr rajesh roshan ji never go to see the kind of fame he deserve as usual kishore da and lataji is simply put soul into these immortal words. as they say har kisko mukaamal jahaan nahi milta kahi kisi ko jameen kahni asmaa nahi milta. this song give that reason to live a beautiful life what you have right now.
Because real iternal and pure music is made up of touching words and emotions.... Now a days see the songs. Bom doggy.bom bom Hai hai huku hai hai. Then po po po po po po Mockery of music
The Eternal Kishor at his best (he always was at his best)....I agree with thecoolguy143...when u listen kishor love songs...u feel that love is everywhere near you, when listen a sad song its like it really moves you to tears.... KISHOR ROCKS man...!!!!
Wonderful Lyrics depicting Every Common Person's Life and Awaiting Some Miracle to Enter Their Lives to make it More Smooth and Worthwhile. And Thus Dreaming and Simultaneously Praying for A Better Tomorrow. I just Love the Simplicity of the Song and Can feel the Intensity of Realistic Life.
Very well said. Life was very different when we had black and white tv. We used to wait for chitrahaar and rangoli. Dal chawal was the staple food for most of us.
haha...was so happy back there ...earning in rupees, eating vada pav, chai and moving with friends...thought of earning little bit more, dollars came here abroad...new culture, new lifestyle, eating bread and pizza, cold weather, cold people....now want a car, a home etc...etc...but not at all that satisfied as was back home.... haha crazy...thats how life is...
This is 1 of the best songs of Kishore Da.....Great thing about Kishore da is tht when he sings a sad song u feel lifes over n there is nothing left.....n when he sings romantic song, 1 feels tht Life is full of love, there was something Magical about his singing! Even this movie was a treat to watch......n song depicts simple n small ambitions which middle class people have.......Jess love the part when the guy repairs his vehicle and drives it(in dream), coz for him tht is his ambition! he he
Wonderful song with lots and lots of meaning! Just gets you carried away with a beautiful combination of lyrics by Gulzar and the immortal voice of Kishore Kumar!
@Zainab1160 Couldn't agree more with you. i was born more than a a decade of this film's release..yet I wholly agree that this is a beautiful song..the beauty of the song..thanks to the brilliant lyrics and composition and great voices behind it..people will keep coming back to it years later..How many songs today have this eternal quality?
Kishoreda and Lataji song so versatile and unique .it is still relevant even today . music director Rajeshsab gifted us fantastic music .what a team work
Very meaningful lyrics by Gulzarsahab...I think middle class people will connect more to this song....In those days such films were made that people use to relate with themselves... Current films are simply absurd and spoiling the current generation.
hey ...i was finding this song from so long......its so sweet song yar......i wish i can see dis movie also........the movie is also so nice...jst love it..........
I fell in love with this song... when I heard it for the first time...... perfect depiction of our lower - middle class sentiments.....👍👍👍👍 Every1 has his own dreams....
I pay my warm regards who upload this song , no language is enough for thanking you. Currently i am 44 years , i have listen this song with my elder sister who is right now 51 years and with my Two brothers . I think modern guies are not that much of emotional , they are professional and result oriented, they donot waste their time for foolish emotional things.
Appreciate your feedback. Very well said. My childhood also evolved listening to these wonderful songs. ...can't express but something touches the heart .nostalgic All mixed feelings
those were the golden years....the actors were so sober , good looking and decent....the singers and music directors were awesome...even in 2019 no once can produce a song with such high quality of lyrics, music arrangement, voice and appeal to the ears
beautiful song but mai Rakesh Roshan k alawa mai Esme kisi ka nam nhi janti especially jo start me 0:34 pe h unke nam nhi janti unki comedy mujhe achi lgti h kai film me dekhi hu but nam nhi pta..
the beauty of old indian songs, keep on listening and listening, u will never fedup. i was almost 7 when i saw this movie. it makes me of 7 again until it finishes.
Davender the guy who plays guitar in the song is very charming. He acted in a few movies. He got popular with this movie. The whole movie is very interesting. At that time such movies came under the category of soft movies. Every one acted well. . A true picture of middle class family. I love this movie. Thanks a lot for this marvelous song.
class man...such a simple song..what strong words..so simple times those were 40 years ago..india had so many hopes...tsk...all fucked up now..but this film is an evergreen classic and i will listen to this again and again 10, 20 years from now too if alive...miss those years
really ,luving and heart touching song.match with everbody's life ,it always turn on my dreams and make me to stand again to struggle to full fill my dream and stopped me from unwanted chase for useless worries..thanx to all director, producer, singer, etc of this movie....
@snowfallonciders1 Very well said. The carefree and responsibility free time of early youth is so wonderful, we mistakenly associate it with the place where it took place. The enjoyment of that time never comes back no matter where we may go. One has to move to progress in life.
