As the person who wrote the song I hear you…It’s not seeking in that sense. What it speaks to is the effort that we put into being what we already are. A lot of times we aren’t aware of who and what God has made us,sometimes we try to work for his acceptance and love. What I was trying to communicate is Gods heart-you are chosen,you are who I want and that’s just a fact. So when your seeking of God comes from a place of being certain of who you are and what it is is you learning God and in so doing learning YOU-that’s perfect. I hope this makes sense,happy new year
