After a month and a half overhaul of the USS Skipjack (SS-184), we return to sea on another war patrol...this time heading west to go up through the Sunda Strait to reach our deployment zone off Luzon. With the war now turning against the Japanese, we look to focus on strategic targets...namingly large warships like carriers, battleships, and cruisers.
