It was probably extremely hard for her - she was living with him who was struggling with a drug addiction and having to house her brother who was picking up bad habits from her then husbad Also I don’t think she had to change for him - whilst he was cheating on her she had endless love for him and even after their divorce she cared for him after his accident

Believe it or not, Scott Disick was also a sperm donor and storyline for Kourtney, which is why they put up with him for so long.
