It is very interesting to watch a lady with a dark red shirt and a black pant. She dances differently from others. California seems to have fun. I miss it since I moved away from LA area in early 90's.
We are very proud for this special New Year, that was invented by the Khmer scholars, sciences and cultural experts more than 1000 years ago, we should therefore be dressing well in honor of our ancestors. We knew very well, we do not copy from anyone or from the western world.
More than 1000 years ago our ancestors celebrated the New Year topless...😂 Look at the statues and arts they left behind on the walls of our ancient temples. To advance we have to go with the flow while keeping our tradition and culture intact. Just my opinion.
@@BunnasVlogប៊ុនណា Related to the new year, because this special new year is ours. We should pay the great respect to our ancestors, but we don't have to dress up or go back to the ancient time. Many people did not know the history of this Holy Khmer New Year and could say that we copied this from other people.
Siam or today call Thai and Lao were the former parts of the Khmer Empires, they therefore had the same culture and beliefs as ours, only have different language dialects.
