Our story begins at the gates of the City of Lions, ǀHûǃga Khauxa, where weathered wooden walls stand sentinel against the passage of time. Carved with symbols of indigenous flora, the gates welcome visitors into a realm steeped in history and tradition. As one steps through the threshold, a kaleidoscope of sights, sounds, and scents unfolds before them, painting a vivid tapestry of life within the city's embrace.
Imbizo Square:
Venturing deeper into the heart of ǀHûǃga Khauxa, one finds themselves in the bustling Imbizo Square, a lively marketplace teeming with activity. Ngoma drums reverberate through the air, their rhythmic beats setting the pace for the vibrant exchange of goods and stories. Women adorned in colorful garments trade herbs, spices, and intricately crafted beadwork beneath the shade of ancient milkwood trees.
