Khoomei Beat represents the cresting wave of the awesome natural force that is Tuvan music. Founded in 2017, this group of six talented musicians has taken the ancient and powerful music of their ancestors and are forging it into a unique, driving, and potent musical experience, with traditional and modern instruments, unique arrangements and a powerful mastery of Tuva’s unique throat singing.
The musicians of Khoomei Beat are each authentic inheritors of this music form, and together they are evolving a traditional art that stretches back to the dawn of humanity.

The lyrics of the song are based on poetic metaphors, where the types of Tuvan throat singing are compared with the elements and feelings. For example, “race with the wind - my lasso sings loudly sygyt on the fly” or “as stones break under my horse, so the heart of a young beauty will not stand before my kargyraa”.
