I feel sad for Fatima. She really does have a soft heart. I didn’t think she was attached to her animals, but I can now see she is. She was crying as the truck pulled away. As I have said before, this child is special needs. She doesn't recognize her own name when called. Barely says a thing and yes stares blankly 90% of the time. She is adorable and I wish she had parents that would recognize that she is different and has needs that need to be met for her growth. Here in America we have many special needs schools, resources, etc. In Iran there probably are resources in major cities. Praying for her.

Diana are probleme cu picioarele, dar parintii refuza sa o duca in oras la tratament la un chinetoterapeut. Este mai bine asa cum a spus tatal Dianei, sa stea in soare zi de zi ca este mai racoare. They are more concerned about protecting the baby from the eye of the evil one, and keeping them safe. People who live in the cities tend to buy more toys for their children and try to educate them. Nifuler doesn’t seem to have the same amount of responsibilities as the other women in the village. She seems to have a lot more free time and could work with Diana, but she doesn’t know what to do, and doesn’t seem open to learning about what she could do to help Diana. She gets a lot of attention from carrying Diana around because she is such a beautiful child.

I started with my Grand Daughter from birth teaching her talking to her whether she knew or not what I said. Use to sit out side when she was 6 months old showing her the sky telling her the color, every day talk to her. She learn well and at 10 years old now is very smart. So even if they know what you say talk and show them everything day.

I think Nifuler is very happy with her life. They are making more money than she ever thought they would. She has a very good life compared to Khosrow’s sisters and other women in the village, and she knows it.
