Sorry about the cut out every now and then, unfortunately I was not able to do anything about this. It's a shame, I know. Again sorry, but i figured it is still so beautiful to listen to. You literally feel the universe smiling upon you ;)
@@trentinthetrees in my youth I saw alot of good music. But as I've gotten older it seems harder to come by. But I'm also not looking for it as hard. Last time I was at Bonnaroo it was all jam bands. I was at the first 3.
I like the fact there are still people who can appreciate quality music at listenable levels as opposed to the ever-popular IN YOUR FACE!! decibel range.
Love to see the people in the audience how they are moving around and smiling. That is literally how wonderful their music makes you feel, I have to say I haven't heard anything like this. Didn't think something like this even existed anymore.
Sorry about that, unfortunately I was not able to do anything about this. FYI , I cut this song out of a longer 1 hour + video, where the audio cut kept happeing every now and then. It's a shame I know. Again sorry, but i figured it is still so beautiful to listen to. You literally feel the universe smiling upon you ;)
These folks embody the Spirit of experimentation that was a cornerstone of the San Francisco sound. Their innovative sound captures the mind and then plays with it. True masters of their craft.
Your looking at two of the best guitarist currently no joke not even your a Phish fan Trey is legit on the strings and Mark Spear enough said dude is killing it!
Only bass guitarists hang a bass guitar so high, and this guy managed to hang it even higher, right to his nose, and he is very far from Richie Blackmour
He really should've though, perhaps a giant 70's fro just for fun. If it was me, I would ask if I could play on the other side of the stage. The scenery is pretty good over there.
The vocals they have are rare. However, I’d rather have one repetitive line, as opposed to lyrics that make zero sense…which is crazy because they aren’t even written by anyone in the band (Phish). But I guess that’s how A lot of jam bands keep going
The guitars plus the melody and lyrics feel like a large fur coat that is tight right around me. Ahhh. (Albeit, I wouldn’t actually wear the fur.) 🎵 I Say I Love This Band. 🎶
Phish is all about listening. Anyone who can play well with Trey is alright with me. Been a phish phan for over 30 years and I am definitely going to do a deep dive on this band. Awesome.
Oh man...had ZERO clue that this happened. Totally bonkers. I did appreciate that Trey kinda said, "I'll take it for sec, kid..." at about 5:03...lol. I do wonder what he's gotta think when he sees a guy like Mark...or Billy Strings....easily 1-2 of the next greats. Derek Trucks is somewhere in between. Word. Thanks for posting this. Sucks that the audio feed is a little bit jacked up...but, eh, could be worse.
From a musician who has based his whole career on winging it, trey knows the chords from before but the rest was improvised. You can see trey look over to mark to see what hes doing and how he can play off that.
I have watched just about every Khruangbin video that shows up in my feed and all of them are varieties of excellent, no duds. I wonder whether they might do a 'Kiss' at some point and ditch the wigs...?
Really liked it when they doubled up on the main riff.either the FOH guy had Anastasio hot in the mix for some ? reason or he was just piling on too heavy at times I would say the latter.
Deep cuts. Crazy to see out of sorts for a minute and then they all click. It’s like listening to algebra but so melodic that it works. Lots of space. Trey really dogs in mid way
You are spot on my friend ,Trey’s a major fanboy but the dynamics just aren’t there . These three are so dialed on each other....and that Pocket! Solid!
Cuz he could shred so hard but is trying not to! Cuz it would be akin to shredding a version of himself in the multiverse and he doesn't want to lose anymore of his Phish tokens or Trey coins just to be groovy!
