Khuṭbah: The Disease of the Hardness of the Heart & Its Cure | Shaykh Dr. Yasir Qadhi 

Signs of hardening of Heart 1. Worship becomes hard 2. Ignore the commandments of Allah, ignorance towards halal haram 3. No sense of guilt or remorse after committing the sin 4. Ceases to care for ummah, selfish life 5. Quran or good advice falls on dead ears, and sealed hearts. Last stage of a hardened heart Causes 1. No remembrance of Allah, zikr, Salah, Quran 2. Turn away from Islamic laws or Shariah, ignore Halal or Haram 3. Darkness of the heart due to sins without remorse 4. Give in to bodily desires, neglecting the desires of the soul Cure/Solution 1. Increase zikr, Salah, read and listen to Quran 2. Increase Nafil and Sunnah 3. Learn, study and practice the religion 4. Make lots of Dua, ask for pure heart Qalb-e-Saleem 5. Involve in noble causes 6. Frequently remind yourself about the destroyer of all pleasures-death

"But whoever turns away from My Reminder will certainly have a miserable life, then We will raise them up blind on the Day of Judgment."- surah ta-ha ayat 124

O Allah please take away the Hardness from our Hearts 💕 and replace them with softness so that we can get our lives together and look forward to meeting YOU with pure, soft and clean hearts on the day of judgement! Please Have mercy on our poor imperfect SOULS!💙🤍

Im sorry but Im very confused, the Shaykh said that the hipocrits used to pray to just get over an obligation, but why wud they care whether something is an obligation or not if they dont even believe in Allah SWT.
