It is lockdown here in Kashmir because of Corona Virus. All are feeling panicky. This kalaam is food for the soul in this time of crisis. Rightnow I'm at my home in kitchen with my family. We are having dinner. My father who is a well known Advocate from Chogal Handwara viz Advocate AG Chowgali is with me listening to this kalaam keenly. Remembering my mom and sister who died 6 years ago. It is indeed a beautiful kalaam making us think about ourselves and the creator, also about our inner self how it should be.

I must have listened to this Kalam more than a thousand times in last two months. So mesmerizing are the lyrics and so soulfull rendering! Kya baat! Lord bless the soul of Prakash Ram Bhat who wrote the Kalam and Kachru sahab who sung it so beautifully.
