There is no set recipe for changing the world. It takes courage and grit to boldly create something new without fearing failure. Radical creativity is bold renewal that fundamentally changes how people, organisations, and societies operate.
In order to build a brighter future, we need the ability to experiment, use our imagination, anticipate, be surprised, learn from failures, and make ethically justified decisions. In the beginning, a radically creative alternative often feels impossible and even ridiculous. The willingness to take risks, be open-minded, humble, and curious, helps us move forward. This documentary movie produced by Aalto University explores the concept of radical creativity. The film screening takes 58 minutes and is followed by a 30-minute panel discussion on the importance of radical creativity and how it can be enabled by cross-sectoral and multidisciplinary work.
Medverkande: Tuomas Auvinen, Dean, School of Arts, Design and Architecture, Aalto University, Mikael Flodström, CEO, Scenkonst Västernorrland and Maria Sandell, Head of Sustainability, JM AB. The discussion will be moderated by Ella Turta, Programme Coordinator, Hanaholmen - Swedish-Finnish Cultural Centre in Finland.
Observera att panelsamtalet hålls på engelska.
