11 years ago, I saw the same type of video of Ford Figo petrol, having lots of features, easy driving, safety features, and look wise it was good. So I purchased Figo and after that I got realised that the main important thing that should be in main consideration is mileage. I always felt for what mentality I have booked this car, what if I want to drive daily, petrol is 110+ and after some time it will be more than 130+. It always realising me that average of 11/liter is not good enough for a middle class family. and after that any features of any car is not important to me. And now after 11 years I am not going to make the same mistake again... I have booked my Ertiga VXI CNG, in that too I can install any features but not CNG Gas (Aur wo bhi company fitted). Lookes doesnt matter for me now..Simply I want ki whenever I want to go for a drive I will go without thinking of mileage. Mileage is the primary factor of the Ertiga.
Kia has increased price of Carens. Ertiga is still value for money. Maruti Suzuki rules because of these reasons: (1) Availability of service centres in small towns and cities (2) Easy availability of MGP genuine spare parts and low price due to large sales volumes (3) Best resale value, upto 60 percent of original ex-showroom price after 5 years (4) Fuel efficient and highly refined K- series engines (5) Upper price range of all Maruti Suzuki cars is 11-12 lakhs, above which only upper class people can afford (6) Factory fitted CNG and Hybrid models make the cars even more economical to run. The disadvantage of Maruti Suzuki cars is lack of safety of some models built on Heartect platform (not Brezza, Ignis, etc) and few features compared to Korean cars. Now Maruti Suzuki is paying attention to that aspect also by providing 6 airbags in New Baleno and upcoming Brezza, rear AC vents, bigger touchscreen etc. So other companies will increase sales due to higher buying power of Indian public but Maruti Suzuki market share will still be highest.
@@JigneshPatel-wj4dd Any doubts? The other day, my nephew was driving a so called premium hatchback of another company with a 3 cylinder turbo engine. Car hardly two years old not more than 20K kms on the meter. The engine while idling was so loud that I had to ask him "Petrol or Diesel?"
@@anowarsayeed5761 Hyundai engines are refined. Maruti Suzuki has brought back it's 1.0 Boosterjet Turbo engine in Fronx Turbo. So it's not like Suzuki can't make Turbo engines. But they prefer to offer 4 cylinder Naturally aspirated engines as these last for lakhs of kilometres giving trouble free service

Went to Kia to book 1.5 petrol then real marketing strategy is released. The waiting period for base varients is 48 weeks. If we are going for 14 lakhs above priced models they would be delivered within 2 months
Kia Carens has 48 weeks of delivery time ( 1.5 7 seater) and price they have kept 9.9 only to trap customers to falsely take advantage of below 10 lacs pricing having lesser tax. But here is the trap, the likelihood of increase in price at the time of delivery is very high, so be ready to shell out about 1 lac more at the time of delivery.
Selecting a car is everyones individual choice based upon treveling time, No of peoples in family, Mileage, service cost, after market availability of spare parts to nearest location, resale value, 1st or 2nd owner, Safety, luxury etc etc... Any point from above can be important for someone but other doesn't care about it. So basically its everyones individual choice considering all imp factors.
For the third row in Ertiga because it provides plenty of space in middle row the third row can be adjusted to pretty comfort position by compromising lavish space of second row little bit which is a great , well designed car for 7seater.
Ertiga still has the advantage, after sale service, spare parts cost , dealer and service Center availability makes maruti ertiga still the real practical mpv. Cng trim is added advantage
The biggest safety disadvantage with ertiga is that it comes with only 2 airbags in base model whereas Carens comes with 6 airbags from base model. NCAP rating is same for both. Otherwise ertiga is a good choice keeping in mind value for money.
Ertiga always for city and small towns... Best option everywhere... More practical and peace of mind for years rather than getting stuck with new comers n their unsure indian future
I saw height of Ertiga is less so it could hit head in speed breakers also suspension is not good enough in Ertiga. Kia carens is far better in this I took test drives
Nice video but, Ertiga is still a value-for-money 7-seater family car with sufficient features, low maintenance, and have service centers in almost every city.
Ertiga automatic comes at 12.25 where as caren comes for 16.5, for such an amount there are other options but ertiga will always cheaper and maintenance free
what competion? cng price almost doubled now and also you must do calibration after every 3 years. CNG is for only taxi users, who want to make enough cash and dump the vehicle and not for private vehicle users.
Test driven both cars.. of course carens gives more premiumness and space compared to ertiga. But yet still I prefer ertiga over the carens because it has better suspension to tackle bad roads. In Carens you feel every bit of cracks, pot holes, small bumps and cuts on the road. In ertiga it's a feel good factor.
Looking at the comments it feels like maruti employees are typing the comments. Both vehicles are bad at build quality but in every aspect carens is better than ertiga. People are saying CNG blah blah if kia comes with CNG version then ertiga will feel soo outdated. In petrol versions ertiga will 1 or 2 km advantage but it doesn't mean it is better than Carens
@@nikhilchaudhari140 so what bro, they have released without CNG now. They may come up with that one in future. CNG has its own disadvantages. Look at the price and features and decide for yourself. In my opinion KIA has better than Ertiga in terms of those. Both are bad at build quality.

@@nikhilchaudhari140 bro go and buy no one stopping you. Carens is better than plastic ertiga. If you want compare, compare apples with apples not apple with orange. Compare both petrol versions and see which is value for money. Ertiga gives 2-3 km more mileage because they use cheap quality light weight material while building the car. If they start using quality material you can definitely see the drop in mileage. Yes CNG is cheap for now what if CNG prices go high.

i have ertiga top model zxi + for 12 lahks ertiga looks bigger from the front carens look big in wheel base and ertiga has smart hybrid tecnology i would say ertiga will last long with no problems ertiga prices are going to increase becuase of facelift
3rd row space of Carens is far better. I've done a test drive. And Ertiga mileage, It averages around 13 or 14. I've driven both and I'm impressed with Carens. More features, especially safety is much better in Carens
CNG version only avialable in Ertiga,also suspension is the key features in India which nobody discuss ? Suzuki has a proven suspension systems for its vehicle which no OEM can match .
Looking at you sitting in third row... I feel Ertiga is better spaced... Added with higher mileage it wins. But for some one who use 3rd row for kids and who uses for less than 10K kms a years... Carens make sense over ertiga
good that Ertiga is getting some serious competition so that MS will do some improvements in it.. hope they launch a new version of Ertiga by eod this year or start of next year :)
When you show the 3rd row seats, it's very important to show us the position of the 2nd row seats. You kept the 2nd row back rest so upright and then showed us the 3rd row of the Kia.

Can't compare Ertiga 6 speed AT with padal shifter and Caren amt cost..... Ertiga still value for money mpv ......maintenance and distance from service station also matter a lot
No one will tell you waiting period of kia carena base model is , 18 months as per agra dealership , while Ertiga you get in hardly two months , thus no comparison is left

Hello ... looks more facous given to KIA in video.. you had given very less review time to MS.. Practical advantages you had not quoted. What about after sales, service ? What's a resale value of KIA? . Nowadays people want to change vehicles 5 to 7 yrs once . Also KIA Gamma F4 engine performance is less compare to K 15 hybrid engine.
