I like these small cars. My first car in 1990 was a Golf mk1 1.5 d with only 50 cv and I remember me travelling for all my country, Spain, with that little pack of horses. I miss it....Good test!!!!
I have this KIA model, and i am happy with it. £32 to fill up the tank from empty to full. It is the perfect city car. It has a top speed of 96mph (approx 150km/h). You can totally go around the world and keep up with even fast traffik. The car falls short in terms of accelerating to highway speeds at 15.9 seconds 0-60mph (0-96km/h). It takes a bit longer to get up to speed when you are in 5th gear, but you basically drain 0 fuel at that point. Because of the gearing, at 50-70mph the fourth gear isn't any stronger than 5th, and you can't really do 3rd gear at those speeds. From the 30L fuel tank, I did Southampton to London and back on a quarter tank, which is very impressive. I bought my 2010 Picanto 1 for about £1990 and it is my first car and also the best so far.
These will run even with 88. Many people fill their Picanto with 88/90 in my country because our fuel prices are so high (90 costs almost the same as 95 in other countries). But 92 is recommended.
Considering Russians can not drive normal under any circumstance, I don't think you've got any ground to argue your point. Indians (who don't have road laws and shit outside on the road) drives better than the best Russian driver.
