In this video we drive the 2019 Kia Rio equipped with the 118 horsepower 1.0 T-GDi 3-cylinder up to it's top speed on the Autobahn! This video is made in the POV perspective.

Speaking of Hyundai speed. I once had my '04 Getz (1.5 auto with a/c on) up to 200kph on a good straight bit of deserted country Aussie road, but of course the speedo may have been out at least a bit. My wife was aboard & said, "That's enough." So I throttled down. We both agree that had we persisted, there was probably another 10k in her. I've still got the old beast as a shopping car. Total problems, 2 headlamp globes, & 2 dome-globes. And annual maintenance too. Added 185 tyres 'cos the garage said, Hydi reckon they'll be extra good. I'm old but think Hy/Kia'll damn nearly take over No1 spot before I check out.

02:05 That acceleration on the 4th gear is not bad at all. If it's fast enough for the Autobahn, it will be ok everywhere else.

Very stable and predictable! Only the bump on the on ramp at 2:02 was kind of sketchy, but I feel like that is the case with most cars.

Autobahn is only a dream in Australia. Even with a-z safety features most people have no idea how to drive - all they know is pull out in front of others and drive 20km below posted speed limit until 2 lanes come up then they hit the jackpot until it is one lane again- blatantly and gets praised for such frustrating and dangerous behaviour. These days there are more limits than speed especially in Victoria. The authorities must think that a car is a bicycle with a motor and should be driven accordingly.

Echt? Soweit ich weiß hat der die neue Marotte von Ford, einen Zahnriemen im Ölbad, was absoluter Scheiß ist. Der Kia hat Steuerkette und die 1.0er gelten als standfest...die von Ford nicht...

very good idea your losing your seven years of garantie also its an turbo charged inline 3 with ca 120 hp thats very much ( for an inline 3) also nobody knows how long the engines will survive

@@hansskywalker2555 dude ford 1.0 ecoboost has stock 140 hp in there range. Use good gas and change oil every 15 k and ur fine

@@hansskywalker2555 hahaah u have no cleu what u talk about seen loads of 200k+ with stock turbo even still. I own a clio 0.9 turbo with 122 hp 200 nm i seen people run them over 200k easy. The make them for 7+ years both for a reason good engines
