Kia Sedona aka Kia Carnival 2006 to 2014 Frequent and common problems, defects and complaints 

Purchased KIA Carnival 7/23. Noticed water in the back on the carpet. At first, we thought maybe our cooler had leaked. After a trip to the car wash, we quickly realized we had a more serious problem. The back was flooded and we needed to shop vac out a considerable amount of water. Took it to a local KIA DEALERSHIP. They had the the vehicle a week and did absolutely nothing to help us. Told us the van didn’t leak. In fact They sent us a nice video of the “detailed inspection” and gave us a list of other “recommended services”(not any relating to the leak) adding up to over $600 worth of work! Unbelievable! It rained this week. The back carpet is soaked and we are not even sure what to do now. So disappointed.

Weird my rear left door just opens an inch and doesn’t move any farther and front right wheel bearing is a bit noisy turning left and the alignment is off by a bit and the ac blows hot and there is a small coolant leak also the spare tire is so rusty it is not safe to use and the last thing is the throttle is ridiculously sensitive at low speeds.

My 2012 kia sedona was having constant error issues with sensors and such. My husband removed the engine wire harness for me to inspect. I found so many degraded witted it was a miracle it hadn't caught fire. Many Sensor connector wires were stuck together with no insulation. Please check your wiring. I had to individually wraps each wire that had no protection.

Any ideas on getting the chipmunk nest from inside the passenger side front, behind the glove boxes of course 😅

I have sliding door issue and the rear hatch doesn't close either.
