Do u friends (D nd N) every buyers is not a enthusiastic driver in India, they r simple nd normal driver, they occasionally drive 100 or 110 km/ hr speed... !!! Kia nd Hundai r d companies who introduce indians with luxury nd low budget....!!! So it is my advice whoever is planning to buy Kia Sonet pl buy.... There is no good look for breza.. Nexon is now looking good but wht abt fit nd finish nd engine refinement... Xuv 300 looks old...!!!
Sir Sonet Diesel ka review chahiye tha. Is the steering hard, ride balance ? Drive feel ? Stability. In this mid size segment which is a good Automatic Diesel ?
Turbo petrol variant with dct is awesome to drive even in city and hill climb. We won't get the torque as compared to a diesel car but this is decent for a perrol engine. We need to start driving a turbo car after a minute of idling so that the engine settles down because there is negligible noise or vibration levels. Rear visibility is small in all these sub4 metre suv or mpv. It is a general consensus that it is overpriced for a sub4 metre. But I have checked the price of all competitors and they are in this range for a turbo with similar features. Steering feedback was ok when compared to i20 n line which is best in segment. Sonet's is not pathetic as mentioned in this review. You will definitely have confidence at high speeds and while cornering. This is an awesome car when someone needs a premium interior, good engine, good drivability, ground clearance, etc compared to all competitors at this period of time. Nexon has quality issues, xuv 300 is due for a facelift and brezza is a good car when premium feeling is not a requirement.
Bought Sonet iMT diesel HTX in December, enjoying it with speed,power and 24.6 kmpl mileage. Only feel powerless in 1st & reverse gear whr accelerator has to be dangerously pressed to move on elevated surface

Push and pull in slow mode at first then you drive normally. This is how I use it's dct to avoid turbo lag initially. But for me this is a very good option, good steering feedback, powerful engine and you will reach 100km very quickly. Turbo lag will be there in all turbo engines especially 1ltr, but I felt as per it's power to weight ratio sonet is very powerful. You will quickly reach above 100km with a feather touch on pedal. If you drive like manual or push pedal to metal this dct is not going to give that sudden urge of power, it is not tuned for the quick launch. In a way Kia has tried to protect this costly dct gear box from quick launch damages, but it's fun after 2000 rpm, very powerful. Comapritively new Brezza and nexon dca is powerless.
I have bought a DCT HTX- 2024. This is an utter negative review. Its a fabulous car. A hell lot depends on how you drive your machine. If you feel under-powered switch to sports mode. If you want to avoid lag - use paddle shifters. I am not sure, my car is too good and I feel confident while driving it. If you need mileage, switch to eco mode and get 16 kmpl in city. That's cool. A deliberate bad review I guess.
@@ashishstone1 Bhai power depend karti hai mode par. Slow speed par sports mode badhiya kaam karta hai. I agree ki lag hai because of DCT but then smooth. Aap aur cars se bhi compare karna - it's a full package

I still feel HTK and HTK+ are best variants of Kia Sonet with gives great features with value for money in comparison to other competitors' variant priced below 10 lakh rupees. Nothing above that and nothing below that is justifiable!
I only want suv that is why I m not going for 1.20. But my budget does not allow me to but creta or seltos. And I drive on highway from 80 to 100. I am decent driver n I hardly cross 100. So I want naturally aspirated engine which is low on maintenance as well. Now the issue is body roll, poor Visibility and poor built quality which you were talking in your video. In this case, what is your opinion about venue S model. If Venue S n Sonnet HTk petrol are the same in every matter then I want to go for sonnet as I like its design and a few more pictures in the same model Like Venue S offers 15 inch tyre profile, Sonnet HTk 16 inch Venue S does not offer front parking sensors, sonnet HTk gives 4 front parking sensors Venue S Does not give rear parking camera Sonnet gives Venue S does not give window curtains, sonnet HTk gives. These are a few things apart from sonnet’s elegant design that pull me towards sonnet. If Venue has better built quality, less body roll, better visibility or any other advtanges over sonnet then I can go for venue. I need to know from you sir
Sonet HTK ya HTK+ le lo bhai.. 80-100 me body roll feel nahi hoga itna.. aur drive karne layak visibility to hai hi.. bahut bada deal breaker nahi hai. Build quality Venue aur Sonet ki similar hi hogi

Nexon DCT drive quality is more worst as compare to sonnet DCT, while taking test drive of sonnet dct we do not face any such issue, which you described. even after test drive we reject nexon dct , for turbo delay, its also present in WV 1.0 too
Sonet is good option than others because Feel good factor Powerful engines with 250nm and 172 nm of torques Wide range of gearbox Reliability And now also focused on safety Resale value Looks like a rich car . This is prof Dr shiv Sethi, I had requested you to make a comparison video between venue and sonnet. Today you have posted a video on sonnet and rejected the car. A couple of months ago, I was planing to buy Venue S model, naturally aspirated engine in menual transmission. When sonnet facelift came, I began to like it n made up my mind to buy sonnet HTk petrol 1.2. Was going to book this Sunday. Your video speaks a bit in favour of Naturally asprirared. But you talk of body roll n instability. Are these issues in venue too? Body roll issue, visibility issue and which one has better build quality, sonnet or venue I have Santro xing 1097 cc, I am very happy with the power of my present car, will sonnet Htk 1.2 will give me the Same power or rather lower than my Santro 1097 cc. I know sonnet has 1197 cc engine but asking you this as sonnet is heavier than Santro? If it will offer me same power as Santro offers on highways I am ok with it as I do not drive above 100. Please do reply and help me take a proper decision. It is a question of ten lakhs which is a big amount for a middle class Prof like me
Dr. Saab compared to Venue, Sonet HTK is offering more features. Body roll issue is not that much if you don't drive above 100. You should take test drive of both Venue and Sonet. If you find it comfortable then Sonet HTK is most value for money car below 10 lakh rupees.
