Kia Stinger GT Tribute Edition | This Is Goodbye 

The Tribute edition should have more HP for a proper goodbye

in about 10 years, I think the Kia stinger will be one of those rare gems that everyone wished they had. As more and more cars begin to lose the "human" aspects to them with everything in the car becoming electronic or automated, we will look back at this car the same way we look back at classic muscle cars, or even just 90's Japanese sports cars and other stuff like manual transmissions.

I bought It but not the tribute one. Latest red interior. Stinger is just somehow a killer with all its features and what it has to offer.

I have number 754 love it so much, can’t wait for the prices to sky rocket in 10 years

The more u drive the Stinger the faster it becomes. It adjusts to your driving skills. This is without using the launch control feature

The Tribute edition is excellent, but even "regular" versions are great as well. I am driving my second Stinger (the first was MY2019, now 2023) and I never looked back. What I like about Kia is the perfect combination of sporty style, functionality, and usability. Love its hatch, more than once people were surprised to see how much stuff fits into its trunk. So sad to not see further evolution of this model.

I’ve always liked these and think they’re great . Been in a coworkers , and that thing flew , twin turbo v6 with awd is slept on . Sad to see it go

Purchased a '22 GT2 fully loaded in the fall of '21 at a price point between invoice and MSRP. And five years financing at 0% interest. It'll be two years old with only 3,200 miles. Best bang-for-buck.

Honestly, this car is the best from Kia. Especially for reliability. I have been reviewing forums and other cars like telluride and sorento have reliability problems. I had one sorento 2021 and leftme in the middle of the road without power. Lemon. I had 2 Kia stingers in the past and no problems. Only a rattle from the sunroof. I now have a GT2 2023, and it has been the best car I have ever had.

I have ‘23 GT Ghost Grey with that red Nappa leather. Love this machine! I also feel like the launch is better without the LC

I can 100% agree with the dealership issue. I went to try to buy a used stinger at my local dealer. They told me I couldn't test drive it without running my credit to see if I was approved for it. I ended up buying 1 from a guy on Facebook marketplace. But the stinger is great. I wanna upgrade to a 2023 from my 2018, but it doesn't make any sense financially

For the stinger there's 2 launch gates. There's Launch Control Ready, and Launch Control Active. It will beep for both gates. It sounded like you went into LCR and started your pull before LCA. The stinger isn't going to win any 0-60 awards against purpose-built, ground-up performance cars. But it's still nice as a reliable grand tourer that you can daily to your heart's content.

They only made 250 Scorpion editions for 2022, and it's the best looking model with the factory rear spoiler.

As much as I adore this car, it’s pretty dumb of Kia to not have added additional horsepower and/or tuned exhaust or something performance-wise on this Tribute Edition. It just makes you ask yourself why you would get this one (and most likely pay extra) over a regular GT2.

Such a shame for such a great car no one ever drove lol. Kia's needs a new marketing department. Which sheds it's old world view. I have a K5 GT-Line which is no Stinger. However, it is still a better car than 90% of it's competition in it's class. I hope the Stinger becomes the classic it deserves in time!! R.I.P. 🪦

The final version of the 440i m performance edition also came in a limited number matte (frozen) silver spec... before it was replaced by the i4M50. Hurts to see another enthusiast car be walked out by an EV. Like the f-series, buy one before its gone:(

I have a 19 and mines DEFINITELY jumps off the line way faster without launch control. I’ve done 4.1 in sport mode no launch mode.

They should have released this under its own brand. It being under kia is what hurt it.

They should've came out with a performance hybrid like the infinity Q50

For the audio test you can use music tracks from youtube audio library .

It doesn’t build boost if you launch it for durability reasons, it spools after you accelerate

Worried about parts you would have to change in the years to come with maintenance.. if it’s the last car.. it may be very difficult ..

Was this car you reviewed AWD? Launch on RWD would most likely be bit slower.

Kia’s headlamps are all over the place, they should have had a blanket implementation for a good design as those in the Kia Forte. I bet if the Stinger had had those instead of the small little lamps that it sports it would have sold heaps.

The Stinger had most of these features from 2015. Other cars has taken featured rom the Stinger

A fantastic video for the new channel! Great work! My favorite vehicle is, ironically, the KIA Stinger, so my enjoyment of this video might be a bit bias. However, this video overall is great, bias aside. Anyone who finds themselves with a Tribute edition won't regret it!

I am not sure if me being a Canadian means Canadian channels get promoted, or there are more Canadians entering the automotive space. Either way, I like to see it. No offence to our American pals, but at least the info is way more accurate is presented toward Canadian audiences.

Tribute Editon???? LOL KIA is a legend in their own mind.....Imagine coming out with a "tribute" edition car for a vehicle that tanked in sales so badly, that production was ended....how embarrassing!

BMW BENZ AUDI KILLER. It will go up in value. In 10~20 years in times of EV. It will be a classic car.

Great car and I would consider buying it but every Kia dealership I've been to in the GTA are pushy and won't budge on prices or work with you at all so that is one of the main reasons I'll never buy a kia product.

Try the 0-60 with one person. Easy 2 tents less.
