Wow. Did not expect low 12s out of that thing for what basic mods it has. My brother-in-law just bought one and is modding it. But he has a long way to go to beat any of my LS cars.

The Australian Commodore / chevy ss was designed to take you and your mates and the fishing boat or trailer with a few dirt bikes out for the weekend. To compare it against a Corvette or a Twin Turbo car is a joke. That Commodore is a base model V8. there were 3 models up from that that had up to 720hp in the same car. And it still holds its own against cars marketed as being fast. We built great cars here in Australia but the Unions in other countries refused to let us export them. Our Xr6 Falcon Turbo 4.0 litre 6 cyl was a weopan.

That vette is one of the best sounding cars in the world, and I'm not saying that casually, I'm a car sound nerd bordering on mentally ill.

They're very fast and beat the regular cars, but they won't beat Corvettes, M3s, Camaro SS > etc. They tend to be respectful drivers though. Haven't seen any acting crazy on the highways.

I've never even heard of a Kia Stinger before I watched this. They were one of the small companies building econo-box type sucky gutless little high mpg vehicles, which is apparently no longer an accurate belief on my part.
