For those wanting to get this, it's an amazing exhaust for those that want a daily driver friendly tone that is more on deep but louder than stock. Absolutely make sure you get tips to extend it beyond the fake tips area or you could get some annoying drone. It sounds amazing when you are gunning it but quiet when you are not and crusiing which is what I think many are looking for unless you are only driving your stinger only on the weekends and don't care about drone. Remember exhaust always will get a tad bit louder after about a week or two of driving once it's settled so give it time. I didn't go with the borla due to the J pipe the mbrp has to help with drone and I didn't like that kinda annoying raspy sound on higher rpms. I just wanted stock like but bit louder for daily driving. I also went with K&N typoon cold air intakes and it really sounds amazing together!

After a week with this product it blows my mind how good it sounds at higher rpms. Reminds me of a ARK Exhaust that is more than twice the price.

A lot of RU-vid videos show this exhaust no justice, hopefully the one I just posted does a little . I’ll be doing a lot more videos with a professional microphone soon, for now I just have a GoPro hero 9 / iPhone 11 Pro

not everyone is after volume.. but for those who want an exhaust that sounds aggressive but not obnoxious would be interested in this offering. If you strictly wanted loud, then just do the "mufler delete" that so many uninspired weekend warriors with a hacksaw seem content to do

Can you tell me how loud this system is on cold start please, and would the upcoming MY22 version be different on cold start? I love the mellow sound of it, but being a shift worker don't want to annoy the street at 2am cold starting it in my garage.

Am i the only one who noticed that on full throttle, you only hear the engine sound and not the exhaust?

From 3:52 and on, I can clearly hear a slight drone coming from the engine exhaust. No aftermarket, louder-than-stock exhaust, can be 100% drone-free. Otherwise, they would sound pretty much like the OEM one (silent to the point of needing an artificial engine noise pumped through the sound system).

AlainHubert you hear the exhaust because the car is in a lower gear while in sport mode. Sport mode keeps the car over 2000 rpm’s. You will not hear that sound when driving in any other mode at solid state cruising, which is often 1000-1500 rpm’s.

Yea thats definitely a catback exhaust. My 2020 Toyota Avalon TRD has a catback exhaust & it comes stock I love the sound. Thinking about buying the 2021 Acura TLX Type S & putting a catback exhaust on it

Hi MBRP , i am from UK and have 2017 Stinger GTS RWD ,was wondering whether your exhaust system would fit my car without any mods? I can see description says 2018 onwards , therefore i am stuck . Would it be a massive difference in how chasis was built between these two car years 2017 and 2018 or you think mbrp system would fit my car (2017)with no issues?

I might have missed it. Was there a down pipe sysyem used just the mbrp ? I am thinking of going with the ark. On that same scale 1 to 10 1 being stovk 10 nascar. 😅 with the Ark dp where would u place it then on the scale ???

so this plus intakes pretty much bring the car close to 400hp? I see it adds 15hp, and some intakes add around the same. To the wheel probably 350-360ish which is not bad.

Just bought a 2021 model here in Australia which I’ll get in 4 weeks, I already I want to push the limits a little with getting it to go faster but I’m not a massive fan of a super loud obnoxious exhaust system. I haven’t been to find anything on it being quiet and only people talking about gaining more hp is to make the thing loud as hell with a cat-less and straight pipes etc etc. How much better do you guys think this exhaust is compared to the standard one as well as a cat less and straight pipes in regards to power/loudness ratio? I have had it for a few months and my x-pipe and one of the mufflers started leaking from welding points so no, it's not good quality.

Do the pipes connect up to the exhaust factory chrome “tips” on the bumper to decrease drone or are those extra resonator pieces there for that reason ?

Pretty sure most of the systems don't actually connect to the tips. I didn't even know that tips weren't connected from factory (until I bought it) Which I absolutely hate. The exhaust is basically right there, just connect the damn thing Kia, jeez 🙄

@@MBRPexhaust-TV plenty of manufacturers used to. My 2007 supercharged Pontiac Grand Prix had nice chrome factory tips on the exhaust, was easier to clean then the Stingers tips. I hate fake tips with a passion, at least with the Stinger, you don't notice it as bad, you have to be closer to notice. Most other cars the fake tips are way more obvious.

Per the video it sounds good without being an annoyance to neighbors and friends and family, but just wondering in person is it overly loud... childish attention look at me sounding. I would love to upgrade but not looking to be that guy.

To anyone over 18 years old , exhaust "pops" and turbo "Blow off valves" are annoying.. they cetainly dont make car quicker, you just look stupid when your doors get blown off.

fyi it was designed to sound just a little louder than stock. Some of us have grown out of the boy racer exhaust sounds and prefer a mellower tone along with a HP bump.
