Brother in the month of Muharrum our beloved prophet's beloved grandson and prophet's family were mercilessly martyred without water for three days. You will be surprised to know that the ones who martyred them were not non Muslims. They were from the ummah of our prophet. Like one of us. Isn't it a shame and saddest thing for us Muslims. @naheedmoorad4560 why will I show my face with insult ? It is Yazid and his Army who did it. It is Abu Bakr and Umar who gave Ibn Abu Sufyan that authority because they were scared of him. It is the Kufans who betrayed Hussain Ibn Ali also his death was foretold by the Prophet and it is the saddest thing in our entire Islamic history though majority of Muslims care nothing for it. Hussain (R.A.) was in prison, so at that time, his heartfelt desire was to pledge allegiance to Yazid so that the problem and doubts would end, but at the same time, his opponents killed him. The suffering of Yazid (RA) and all Muslims too, if their wishes were fulfilled, this problem would have been solved, because Yazid Ibn Ibn Muawiya (RA) was the son of a great son of the Companions.

@@3usa950 the great companion married their young daughters to Nabi as they wanted to control the tribes as Nabi doesn't have any Son. Politics was kick started Abu Bakr was made the Khalifa instead of someone from Nabi Family and thereon they never let anyone from Nabi family to rules.... All was pre-planned and like Nabi others too taken benefits from it..
