This song speaks so much truth. We spend most of our time wondering about him, whether we are good enough and just trying to so hard to be that only woman he has eyes for instead of giving all of that focus to ourselves. I see how maybe her friend was jealous of them together because she wish honestly that could be her and sometimes in our relationships we began too give those feelings away from the person who made us feel that way because of confusion. It's really important to go into a relationship clear minded, unattached, so that you won't make the mistake of running back to what you really wanted. She was lucky enough that the person she was in love with was still there waiting for her because I'm most circumstances that person has either found someone else or has had a change of heart. I can say that I have had a moment when I didn't know I could feel a certain way about a person until an ex factor came back around, basically wanting to go back to how we were. But my mind wasn't in it, my body wasn't in it, and my heart was just stuck in one place, which use to be easy for him to unloosen but it was out of his hands. What I was feeling was different, towards how someone else may have been making me feel. In an unthinkable way. Sometimes opportunities doesn't come around once but maybe regardless of that person stays or goes, you can take something from that experience and grow 😕
