Well, first I gotta say, that nuclear ending was amazingly well done, though not much less could be expected from The Great Kibitz right? Watching your videos these last few months has been nothing short of amazing as well, so thank you for that. Also, regarding your factory cart, let's say, incident? I had the same thing happen to me with a factory cart getting stuck in mid air as i was falling then becoming invisible as soon as i got out, no idea as to why it happened but if that cart happens to still be stuck there in your world, try putting a foundation under it xD let me know what happens. And as always, You're the guy. Thanks Kibz
When he was first building the nuclear setup he wanted to see if the drones could transport enough uranium. So he put a few stacks of caterium to check throughput. Much later when the nuclear project was done, he turned off production for a bit and found caterium ore mixed into the massive nuclear setup. It turned out that a few of the test stacks were still in the drone ports like a time bomb to shut down the power grid and it was a mess to clean up.
Laying down a bunch of nukes reminds me of when i placed down 100 or so mines in the city of Megaton, Fallout 3, and watching them explode sequentially. 5 seconds after the explosions, body parts of the civillians rained down from the sky haha.
"I get lucky A Lot!" -Kibz 2022 Had no idea you were such a stud my dude lol. (All in good humor), I'm TheBrokenIrish if you see this, I believe you know who I am.
As a sidenote you don’t actually have to deactivate the Reactors you can have a splitter/separate train stop where the uranium gets dropped off once the nuclear Nopales bomb factory fills up the inventory spaces than the rest of the uranium will be diverted back to the power plant. The only time after the initial wrap up. Where you will receive less power is one of the factory a.k.a. the nuclear bomb factory is online which will be pretty rare.
I feel like the balcony could have blenders all along, either with the extras being used for something or being just an aesthetic piece. Sorta like the titanic's fourth smoke tower
Didn't he use it to test his drone throughput and then forgot about it when hooking up uranium? Thus it broke the nuclear power plant dozens of hours later
@@thejedimaster32 Kib is a master, not only in using nucular grenades, but also in accidentally and unknowingly inventing timedelayed sabotage shutoffs for entire powerplants, that are easy to do and hard to fix..
Sometimes, with all this factory building games I forget he played games like they are billions. And then he eradicates an entire biom with nuclear ☢️ bombs.
It really highlights a discrepancy between your quite organized approach and erm, mine, when ground level is the *least visited place* in your factory.
hehe than i am a middle man of both you and kibs in that i usally visit my ground floor (both because its logistics but because i got about 20 differant headaches from it) and most of my other floors because i am still converging the place up AND the probelm? i got about a dozen MORE belts to run for storage though im now thinking of were the fuck do i set my rail station for when i make that... as i know i need one.
I did my own testing on some of the new ammo ... Pulse nobelisk, gas nobelisk, nuke nobelisk - didn't even bother; they don't fit my play style. Stun nobelisk: Also didn't bother - doesn't last long enough to be useful against creatures except possibly in multiplayer. Cluster nobelisk: Quickly aborted test when results were - at best - no better than standard nobelisk against creatures; and collateral damage to foliage goes against my play style. Turbo rifle ammo: Haven't tested yet; probably won't as I don't see any real advantage. Homing rifle ammo: Won't be mass producing this. Seems to have less damage than standard; I was using two or three times the bullets to get kills as standard rifle ammo. Explosive rebar: Now the go-to for clearing hostiles. One shot kills with a hit to any standard hog, spider, or spitter, and the alpha spiders as well. (Have not yet encountered a farting spider to test it on.) Three shots for alpha hogs and spitters. One shot kill on hatchers as long as the hatcher is opening. (Standard rifle ammo is best for sniping closed hatchers - 4 hits = splat.) Also easiest for gas flowers except in very limited situations like shooting upwards - there a manual detonation of standard nobelisk would make hits easier, but not enough fo me to cart the extra ammo.
