You will not go wrong with this solar panel, And there cheaper now, than when I filmed this video, also some improvements have been made.

Depends on what you call night time usage. Also fridge power consumption depends on your climate, although the kickass fridge has excellent insulation so it’s not as big a deal as some other fridges. I have mine set in -16 left bin and 3 right bin. On average 2 amps per hour consumed. I’m not sure how efficient the 95 L fridge is, I wanted to test the 95 L fridge but Kickass where not keen to supply me one for review and testing. I did try. I reckon the 300 w panel will run the 95 L fridge. Although on cloudy or rainy days you might have some issues after a couple days.

Also depends where you live. Certainly will be more than enough in QLD, NT, WA and most of NSW.

I know. To get quality you have to pay for it. But I agree, get yourself a cheap household high voltage panel bolt onto your roof rack and use a Victron MPPT solar regulator and you will have a very efficient system. But for those that don’t have the opportunity to mount a glass household panel anywhere, this solar panel is awesome. There’s to many cheaper panels out there that just don’t perform.

@@PhilsCampingReviews Yes seems to be a good set up te 300wat kickass panel you have thought your controller. have you tested it through the kick ass controller, so true Ive tested many solar blankets over many years, And I would not own one just do not perform as they say, I carry my house panels in our old 1983 Jayco wind up van under the mattresses, I like to have my panels face the sun better,

I’ve seen well over 20 amps when the conditions are ideal. but mostly around 20 amps

I mostly been using both my panels of late. The safiery high voltage 250w solar blanket and the Kickass 300w panel on separate MPPT solar regulators and I get 40 amps going into battery with the two combined

I don’t think so, best chance would be to phone Australian direct on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland Australia and ask if they can post one to you.

As long you use thicker cable on this panel it performs really good, similar to my Safiery panel during the optimum solar time. The high voltage safiery panel does start charging a lot earlier in the day and later as well

The 16kg weight is manageable. It would be the heaviest i would carry as a portable panel, it does take up more room than the safiery panel. If you have the room. The kickass 300w panel is an awesome panel. I would say its the best 12v portable solar panel Ive ever owned. But. I do prefer high voltage panels over 12 volts, In saying that, this panel surprises me how well it works. I also think its more durable than the safiery.

It is a bit strange they not come out with a lithium battery thus far. A 200 amp lithium would be awesome.
