That was a great explanation of how to wire up a dual battery system. You only get what you pay for is right. That kickass system is great and the fridge's are better. Till next week safe travels

Hey there. No I didn't need to make a notch in the lid, I just ran it with the wiring harness it came with. From memory I piggybacked off the heated seat fuse. Thanks for watching 👀

Hey mate, If I'm piggy backing off an existing fuse eg: wipers or heated seats, what amp fuse do I need put in the empty slot above the existing fuse in the piggy back adapter for the dc-dc Cheers

Any updates mate how's it going a year in ...have you added solar ... pros and cons for your set up I'd like to know before I look into it... like the idea that you can unplug everything and take it on a boat

Hi there. Yes we have added Solar and we have had no problems so far. So pros are the added solar and the phone app so I can see how charged the lithium battery is. Dont really have any cons, pretty happy with the whole set up

Both. I cant really remember as its nearly 2 years since I bought it but it came from Kickass. Unsure whether it was with the power box or separate. Thanks for watching

Hey there , from memory it was the heated seats fuse. As for running the negative, that was just a personal preference to do it this way. Thank you for watching

The negative of the battery is at equal continuity as the chassis so no difference but as a beginners install should go to the battery ...most people that bolt to the chassis get a poor reading because they don't bare back to bare metal surface for the lug to bond

I believe that system should only charge when the truck is actually ON

It does charge when the car is on and then through the solar panel when it is off. Thanks for watching

not a good example mate , your wire underneath is expose to the elements and you should have insulated and used the conduit to cover the wire ,especially when your offroading which you can hit a rocks ,stone and other unwanted stuff that can damaged to the wire

As you would have heard in the video I asked for comments on whether to use some conduit over the wires or not but then I followed on by saying that " I think I will do it". And in fact this was done, the wires were insulated just a few days after the video went to air.
