Willacoochee, GA is a reference to Jungle Fever. The good reverend, played by Ossie Davis mentions it at the dinner table because it's where he is from. Lol! I can't with him!
Combo of things. Students inviting more people than they have tickets for. Also, they need to ENFORCE the ticket rule at every entryway. I've seen people sneak into graduation ceremonies.
Per the University website, the venue (Cramton Auditorium) has a seating capacity of only 1500 people. The number of graduates was 280. Plus an unknown number of faculty and staff. The venue was not large enough to accommodate the average family of four plus Granny. Smh. I blame the University for piss poor, oppressive planning.
I'm at the point where I just like your videos before watching them. Young man, you are so immensely talented and hilarious. "... A pricey pint of penguin piss..." 😂 😂
The school messed up, but it's still inappropriate to act the way the families did, OBVIOUSLY. just because you don't get your way and it sucks Doesn't mean you can tear the place down.
I hope none of the organizers wind up in the hospital. These pissed off new nurses will be the ones caring for them, and they get to choose the needle gauge.
Years ago you had to have to have a ticket to get in .yours ago you had mybe four tickets each.So many people don't understand how things work. The school should have told the students to only invite what they had tickets for.
That is just the perfect example of what can happen in schools. They studied so hard for so many years just for some dickhead to tell them no. That is just truly wild.
They weren't aware of the seating capacity and couldn't figure out how many guests each graduate could bring?Any highschool, middle school, and dog school knows that.
Listen Dean, I'm not taking the stage with me, I just want to walk cross it (or run) to get the diploma. I stayed up all night till my eyes were crossed and my mind was DOA the next morning in class, I asked for the prayer group at church to pray for me to pass these tests and I turned in to study instead of turning up, oh no, I paid the price now I want the prize.
Isn't that why they give out a certain amount of tickets so this doesn't happen? Ya know the room has 200 seats for family friends so let's make sure we don't hand out more than that.
I can see you now doing a commercial saying, hold up, wait a minute, something aint right. You mean to tell me that I can save a bunch of money by switching to Geico?
The problem is usually more people showing up than the school allows each student to invite. When I graduated high school the ceremony was done at the football stadium where there was plenty of room. But we were all told, well in advance, that if the weather was bad the ceremony would get moved to the auditorium and each student would only receive TWO tickets to give out to family members, and nobody without a ticket would be let in.
I remember going to my sister's graduation at Howard only to find out that only my parents and grandparents would be allowed inside, after making that trip.and paying for a hotel room. I see things haven't changed much after 20 years
They planned accordingly. It's the families that disregarded and ignored the rules. They were told in advance how many people can be invited. Or is following rules and taking accountability racism too?
