► Filmed DECEMBER 2019 I wish I had time to explore Balochistan and have a proper trip there. All I had time for was a short excursion from Karachi; I've always been fascinated with ships and when I heard of this ship-breaking yard I had to go check it out. I had no expectations about what I would find, and no expectations to get in. The workers, management, and police were all super cool with me at the shipyard. Next week I'll have another video from Karachi.

just to clear (1)Rangers are equal to US border force and yes they are paramilitary not army, army is reserved for war times (2) These yard are operated by big companies and these sites are private properties allotted to them and yes you need permission to film or even walk there otherwise its trespassing. (3) the small horn that tucked in your shoe you called it (huge), actually they can grow as long as 15 inches and few years back i step on one it was near to 4 inches and i was bare foot and nearest hospital was 1.5 hrs away rest you can imagine. and just a suggestion, next time keep a local with you so they can communicate on your behalf , here in Pakistan every region has there own language and not all people can speak English they can understand but not speak.

Well said bro, you'll never get more than a hi or hello in Europe and US and that's if you say it first! They call themselves the 1st world but the majority of them have a rotten heart! I was lucky enough to travel a lot around the world and the west attitude towards people of colour disgusted me but when they travel we show them what humanity is. Peter is a great guy though.. I like how respects and engages with everyone.. He has clearly shown at the end of the day we are all humans and have the same dreams in life... Primarily we all strive for the same goals 1.Peace 2. @l bruh he's not lying. A family friend of mine was going to the US for the first time from Pakistan to study. He was held at the airport for about 8 hours. He said that he had a proper schedule for after he landed but all of that was ruined and he was so mentally drained that he just wanted to go where he was staying and sleep in a bed. Later, he became a doctor and got citizenship. I also have stories about relatives who are US citizens who get picked for 'random' checks whenever they are travelling.

Foreigners may need permission due to security reasons in some parts of Balochistan. Usually the authorities send a police van along to ensure the safety. I don't know why your driver dropped you so far from that yard because there is a paved road that goes right next to these yards and also a quite nice beach is there full of marble rocks.

You need to respect the rules and laws. It is clear that filming is not allowed but still persisting on filming. Would anyone dare to try and film something in Western countries if you were in a no camera zone? This would've been a totally different video if they had been stern with enforcing it. Even though they didn't say anything to you, you may have caused trouble for the poor workers who allowed you to film.

This is to protect you bro. The Govt. is in deep shit if a foreigner gets injured. This happens all the time as tourists have this strange fascination with this ship breaking yard (also FYI you spelled annually and federal wrong in your captions if you care) I usually love your videos, but this is really not cool. Imagine if someone from Pakistan came to US and tried to climb a fence or get into somewhere that was forbidden. Remember you are representing western tourists when you travel, and you should obey the rules that are in place.

Thanks Bobby for your words here. In regards to trespassing, I didn't go over any fences or pass any do not enter signs either in English or the local language. There were no clear rules with walking on the beach. When there was a problem I went and talked to the management. I fully agree with what you're saying about the US. A lot of my work is about showing how cool the people are in Pakistan since they've been unfairly demonized in the west to some degree. So my video in an often non-direct way shows this. As in the authorities took me in for tea in this video. This would not happen in most places. Is there risk in this, yes. But it's honestly not as shocking as it might look when edited into a short video.

Actually this rough parts they like because of the real sense of freedom here 1. They don't have places like that heavily populated covering vast areas & it's cultural originality. Superb view. As the clean & developed areas feel sad like living in golden cage, of huge buildings of marbles & glasses showing fake developed feelings, not cherished but suffocating humanity under capitalists Dept & borrowed money slavery 2. These parts shows how rough & tough is Pakistan & the people of the city is running & working like a high speed machine, for feeding such a huge population, the west could not imagine to manage such a huge populated large cities like Karachi Pakistan. My opinion is specific to Peter only some vlogers are very professional and un biased. He didn't admire hospitality of Pakistan . In lslamabad he went to slum to show world it is Islamabad. In Peshawar he was focussed on terrorist and Afghan refuges. Now a days many vlogs are available on RU-vid about exploring Pakistan. You can compare with them.

Explanation: for your safety it was necessary to remove you from that area CAUSE 1. You are not wearing Safety Kit. 2. Its all chemical hazardous around this work place. 3. Its all fire hazardous around this work place. 4. Workers are used to of this work place, many of them already have got some diseases (unfortunately many of them die every year) because of poor safety measures taken by the owners of this work place. 5. MOST IMPORTANTLY they would not let you film and convey the visual proofs to the world, that how poor are the safety measures taken by the owners, how inhumanly the workers are being handled and how less the workers are being paid. These workers are exploited as work in unhealthy environment and paid very little. The police & the owners of these yards must have thought you were making a documentary about the plight of these workers so they pushed you out of the premises.

The workers talking in pushto they worry about ur safety Ship breaking is dangerous job if some thing happened to visitor especially western guest then whole people in trouble there can lose their jobs. U better have guide. Plus inside ship tanks too many gases and not very clean place. Even we watching your video worried about u.
