John Redcorn Which i think for normal people who just want good audio in their car should be enough. Just wondering how to wire this thing up. I cant see any detailed look at the wiring harness...

wiring harness came with the product and their is instruction manual to show you where all the wire goes the wires are label is pretty much straight forward. My mistake was I bought a wire harness kit which I didn't need it. By the way you just need to buy a converter if your running a stock head unit.

+StaticGamer yea just get a nice amp and a nice sub combo and make sure not to blow your factory speakers (i would get new ones)

if you have room behind your seat, NO look at a proper wedge or larger if space permits. these are designed if you have a vehicle with absolutely no room to spare for a real subwoofer

It's a subwoofer in a pre-built enclosure, with a dedicated amplifier built therein. You plug it into your head unit (that is, your radio/CD player) and it works without anything additional.

David Gomez Yes. I don’t have mine yet but I’m doing two under both front seats. Don’t have the correct wording but a Y adapter (I think) will be needed to connect both of them to one bass knob.

It only powers itself and it's not a very big amp. An okay head unit will provide as much power to your door speakers as this thing potentially would.

MrD50boy It should yes. I am planning on buying a car here pretty soon and I like bass, but don't want to be the guy at a stop light that has everybody else staring at him. This is probably what I am going to go with. Built in amp. and decent sound. Will probably throw it under the passenger seat.

Where did you put it? The bazooka tubes generally have a smaller driver and don't extend as low in the frequency range so the problem may have been placement over actual sound reproduction.
