In this episode of Barn Calls with Jonathan Field, we continue working with Buck, the challenging horse with a difficult past. Jonathan takes Buck out of his pen, but the horse is resistant and starts kicking, bucking, and running around. Despite this initial behavior, Jonathan is patient and persistent, working with Buck until he eventually moves around softly and happily.
Celina, one of the Circle F volunteers, even gets a chance to handle Buck. She's scared at first, but Jonathan helps her calm her emotions and she has some success working with the horse.
There's still a long road ahead for Buck, as he has so much past that it's hard for him to show up present and realize that Jonathan is there to help. However, it's a relief to see him happily moving around a circle, probably for the first time in many years.
