So nice now, great engineering and construction. The old highway was outdated in the 1960s! We now need the Sicamous to Revelstoke improvements to happen ASAP.
as the driver of a big rig, i have traversed that road every week for 13 years. the improvements are so appreciated and i was so exited that first time it was completely open.

Nicely done. I wish the cameras would have been better back in the early 90s before they put the big flyover bridge in the East end, that steep old goat trail was a nightmare.
When I travel by the great roads in BC I get a deep sense of appreciation for the amount of work that's been done and is continuing to be done to make our lives safer and easier to get around. Taxes well spent. However, due to the geology of this province, I can imagine an earthquake or rock slide can cause massive destruction and travel chaos. Hopefully that won't happen any time soon. Great video.
