Kicking Straight From the Past 

I wanted to be a straight on kicker but my position was snatched and given to the son of the local mayor..oh the politics everywhere

Straight-on kickers from the past had a 55% success rate. It’s more like 85% today.

The only kicker in NFL history to win the MVP was a straight ahead kicker

I use to kick that way, but then I started to teach myself to kick the soccer style and ever since then my kicks improved dramatically

The nfl does not allow special shoes for anyone since Dempsey but with your leg you can adjust just fine

I do like a soccer style / toe kick. I back up like a soccer kick, and kick with my toe. I’m new-ish to football kicking, so I invented a new kicking style.

I can’t describe how terrible toe kicking is compared to soccer style... that coach has no idea what he’s talking about.
