Practicing the main keyboard part on my Yamaha MX49. You can probably tell from the weird fingering I'm not a real keyboardist! Check out my Radiohead tribute band at / theretherenyc .
such a brilliantly weird melody. its the kind of thing i cant even imagine how they wrote it. they have a lot of things like that; the chord progression to the rain down bit of paranoid android, or the guitar riff for in limbo. i just wonder how the fuck they come up with things like that
dont know if anyone gives a damn but if you guys are stoned like me atm then you can watch pretty much all of the new series on instaflixxer. I've been binge watching with my gf for the last months :)
Hey, for this sound I used a layered performance with one of the electric pianos (sorry, I forget which one) and a harp. I think I messed with the ADSR settings of the electric piano to get it to decay like the harp. Sorry I don’t recall more specifics and don’t have the performance in shareable form!
Thanks! I just dialed it in by ear. To me the album track sounds like a harp crossed with an electric piano, so I made a patch stacking both of those instrument types.
I'm trying to learn the whole album on piano. So far I know Everything in its right place, (thanks to this) Kid A, half of The National Anthem and Idioteque
