Collins Ongaya well that's not true. They have competitions and events for power movers so they can win with only power moves. But a lot of people tend to forget that we are doing what we love and what we want to do, and the only people really getting worked up is the viewers on RU-vid. These events are great but they are more of a tool to see where everyone's skill level is. No one is going on record saying the want to be the best at every style then only work on one. Don't you think we all know that? And honestly you're pretty much calling our entire culture dumb if you don't think they don't know that already. They don't want to do other things and they don't have to. It's not hurting their career any, they are still recognized all over the world and still loving what they do.

powermovers don't go far as mentioned. This Redbull BC one. Not a powermove cypher or a competition. This is a competition where you need EVERYTHING. Few powermovers like lil g and The End made it to semi finals and finals, only because their powermoves were actually unique and original, like The End's airchair airflare combos.

ummmmmm..... I completely disagree. Moves were poorly executed by Neguin. If you noticed, he bended the legs constantly on most of the tricks. Really suck!

Não concordo com os caras que dizem que Power move não é dança, tudo é break e tudo conta. Power move é uns dos fundamentos, mas se vc só faz power move contra um cara que faz top rock, footwork, power move e freezes originais e numa qualidade alta de execução e musicalidade, não dá pra dizer que vc ganhou.

You can't change kid colombia's or any bboy's mindset. They train and practice what they prefer to do. If they want to be known for their moves, they will showcase it in a battle. Winning is just a plus. Representing and being yourself is what keeps you going.

neguin is dope don't get me wrong but he lost. Neguin won the first round for sure but the rounds after that were questionable. He seemed out of shape and not able to execute his moves like he normally does. He paused in weird parts of the song off beat while doing his sets. Ive seen him do a lot better. Kid colombia was cleaner. Any other day neguin would have won but today he blew it and still got the win. Mabe because it is a red bull event? lol

i felt like Neguin was listening to the music more. he show'd more charector. his flow was on point. and he did power. he just had an all round better performance for me personally. and at the end of the day it is a dance. both are ill.

I'm 32 and have been in the hip hop game for longer than many people here have been alive. I'm not a power-head at all, I'm into threads and freezes and flow, but the judges got this wrong. Neguin crashed a bit, and KC was flawless. There was mostly power, but he threw in some blowups and footwork plus, you can't grab a guys throat. I would have beat Neguin's ass right then and there for that shit, and I like Neguin, but I'll stomp you out if you try that choking shit. 100

Anyone that respects the history of something learns all it's disciplines. Not learning footwork is like basketball players not learning free throws.We see guys that can do 360 dunks but can't hit a damn free throw. A Bboy that can't OR refuses to do footwork is the same. Footwork is one of the fundamental aspects of breaking, ignoring it makes you an incomplete Bboy period.
